Hitters: No matter how good your swing is, if you don’t trust your plan or approach you’ll consistently be late for fast, early for slow while trying to cover the whole plate.
Decide, trust, crush. 🧠📈

Much different these days! So very difficult being a parent and trying to navigate the climate of youth sports is impossible! We want to make sure that our kids have the best of everything! My Dad always likes to remind me that sometimes LESS is better and that it is OK to say NO!

In order to excel, you must be completely dedicated to your chosen sport. You must also be prepared to work hard and be willing to accept constructive criticism. Without one-hundred percent dedication, you won't be able to do this. -Willie Mays

Breaking News! Parents...your son isn’t not being recruited because his HS coach isn’t helping him. He’s not being recruited because he’s allergic to the weightroom/conditioning, his measureables are not good, and he gets destroyed vs good competition. Your son’s got WORK to do.

Over-cueing after every swing for feedback creates a passive learning environment. Which is the least effective form of learning.
The learning environment you create matters.

If u plan on being a high level baseball/softball player.. You're going to have to work harder than u currently are, keep a positive attitude, remove the distractions & drama, sacrifice social time for "work".. most importantly, u BETTER be consistent
