Formerly @ALERTFAKE_KALE
We (re-)dust Algorand accounts that are dusted with scams
Changed address to accomodate the 4..4 format shown in @PeraAlgoWallet notifications, which should now display an ominous: WARN..SCAM
WARN666I6ITOTBIFMYOOYDAT2JA63QQO2Y6MJCNER5YAF4L6MQO7W6SCAM
Did you know? You can opt out of WARN..SCAM txns here:

(This won't stop the scam, just the WARN..)

🚨SCAM WARNING - RT
.@sadbois_NFT is DMing people asking to interview them
They direct users to download a fake @RiversidedotFM trojan horse
If you have downloaded and run this, rekey your accounts immediately & change passwords
🧵
🐛Some messages slipped through the opt-out list. Bug has been fixed. Thanks anon for the report 🫡
Reminder: If you don't need the WARN..SCAM warnings polluting your wallet, you can opt out here:
warnscam.d13.co
It will even work reliably now🤞

Era not over. WARN..SCAM is alive and well:
- 24H transactions: 28,922
- Last txn sent 2 sec ago
- @alloinfo labels working
Volume is down because the poison attacks stopped 18 hrs ago. Funding account pictured
If we missed a scam, holler to @d13_co

⚠️ Allo just got a little safer.
We've partnered with @WARN_SCAM in order to display big bold warning signs on malicious account pages.
If you see one of those warnings, do not send funds. Triple check the address is correct first.
#StaySafe
You can now opt out of receiving WARN..SCAM bot transactions.
If feel like you do not need the warnings, opt out here:
warnscam.d13.co/
Opt-outs are public, as they are stored on-chain.
Cost is 0.0173 ALGO for storage/txn fees.
To celebrate 2 years of WARN..SCAM and 11 million warning transactions:
Announcing a new feature ✨💅
(As in "now", not "announcement of announcement".)

Sadly people fall for this, as seen here.
That 2015 ALGO was unintentionally sent to the scammers instead of the correct destination address 🧵

Per the proposal, I sent 10K $ALGO to the @WARN_SCAM account:

Woop Woop! The @WARN_SCAM retroactive xGov proposal passed with support from 71 xGovernors! 🥳
Thank you, I appreciate the support 🙏

I wrote up my retroactive+fees proposal for the WARN..SCAM bot
Should be in period 4 xGov
forum.algorand.org/t/xgov-20…
Thinking of doing a small retroactive xGov for this service I've been running since Oct. 2022: @warn_scam
It follows around txn-note scammers on chain and sends warnings notes.
Left image: example scam. Right: immediate WARN..SCAM follow-up
🧵
The WARN..SCAM bot account is almost depleted 😓
~15 ALGO remain and the scammers started up again today
If you have any ALGO to throw at it, the address is this:
allo.info/account/WARN666I6I…
All donations will be used exclusively for txn fees
Some WARN..SCAM stats 👇🧵
Moving forward:
- I intend to ask for some xGov funding for the short term
- Xicor had an excellent idea to mix this with Ora mining. The app call would pay for the entire group, and the mined ora would make back some of the fees. That's on the TODOs.

Txn fee donation drive can be considered finished for now - and wildly successful:
30+ accounts topped the bot up to 1,084 $ALGO
which means the next 1M transaction fees are covered by this community's good will
Thank you all, this was heartwarming to see💚
