🧵 Technical Note In order for an account to materialize its pending rewards, it has to send or receive a transaction. In other words, the only way to update a balance is through consensus. 👇

🧵 The Spike That's why Nodely decided to send transactions to every idle account still showing pending rewards. By doing so, all the balances are now updated, and there are no more "pending rewards" on Mainnet. Hat tip to Nodely for the cleanup ✨
