Blessed to receive a pardon from @realDonaldTrump on Dec. 23rd, 2020 & witnessed my fiancé walk out of FCI Coleman after 13 years on May 28th, 2025. From freeing @AliceMarieFree to appointing her as Pardon Czar, @POTUS shows true commitment to redemption & second chances.
Hey @NYTimes @EricaLG @KannoYoungs, you are wrong! President @RealDonaldTrump freed me from a life sentence for a nonviolent drug case and then gave me a pardon to recognize the work I do in the community since coming home. I am a living example of his great impact and leadership on redemption and reform. I know he will do more to keep America safe and fix our broken systems #FirstStepAct #SaferSupervision

I disagree, @nytimes. @POTUS Trump granted me clemency from a 35-yr first-time non-violent white-collar sentence, based on my hard work, family & community support, and a thorough review of my draconian sentence. Every day I honor that 2nd chance. He rights justice system wrongs.

Restitution is a LIFE sentence! It's time for #remissionNOW @LaraLeaTrump @AliceMarieFree @POTUS @realDonaldTrump The trial tax is real on white collar cases. I fought and lost! See my book on Amazon for all the details of my case.

Restitution is another way to keep justice-impacted and formerly incarcerated individuals confined, imprisoned and locked out of opportunity for ourselves and those we love. Join us in the fight to end life long restitution: chng.it/4hkRf2LdDB #RemissionNow #TheLOHM #REFORM

It's time for clemency for all those serving the life sentence for restitution in white collar cases. Only 5 remissions granted in the history of the USA. xitter.cf/thelohm/status/1557056… @AliceMarieFree @realDonaldTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr @POTUS

.@POTUS thank you for your continued use of your clemency powers as your term in office comes to a close. However, we remain steadfast in our advocacy for clemencies that bring people out of the federal prison system and reunite them with their families.

Another day, another incredible Day of Empathy event, this time in Arkansas. We're constantly inspired by the community leaders and activists who show up and remind us that there are plenty of good people doing good work around this country.

I need something positive on this dark winter day. Something to keep the depression away. I know; Pet pics. And, I'll donate $125.31, in your name, to the charity chosen by ONE person who has the cutest pet(s). I get to decide cuteness, based on a fully Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) experiment. Joking. Quote tweet. And I'm RTing all tweets with pics, because we all should see cuteness.

There’s no reason to send 3,000 members of society back to federal prison. Let’s celebrate government getting out of the way and helping people get back on their feet, rather than waste millions of tax dollars with absolutely ZERO public safety benefit. thehill.com/opinion/criminal…

Another stellar day on the Hill for the Dream team. As tough as Congress is these days, we won't stop fighting for criminal justice reform, including for oversight of the federal Bureau of Prisons.

But at the very least, at a time when overcrowding and understaffing is endemic, we should not be trying to send 3,000+ folks who are succeeding beyond our wildest dreams back to prison…we should be holding a parade, not punishing them and their families

And according to the largest meta-analysis ever done, prison, even accounting for incapacitation, creates more crime than it solves. We are investing all of our treasure in the wrong solutions…when something else works, we should not kill it, we should embrace it

🐴💩 This policy has been one of the most successful in the history of modern penology...the recidivism rate improved by a massive amount over general releases and "violent criminals" were excluded from eligibility Wardens chose who was eligible & could bring them back at any time
The CARES Act was passed during an unprecedented national emergency. Now that the COVID-19 emergency is over, the policy is no longer feasible. Put violent criminals back behind bars.

⚠️ TOMORROW, the Senate could vote to send thousands in home confinement back to federal prison. This is not only unfair and unjust, but it's a bad idea. Data shows that home confinement dramatically reduces recidivism & more. Tell @WhiteHouse to VETO ❌ act.dream.org/sign/keep-them…
