Sunrise in Cornwall caught as I arrive at Uni. “The early nerd catches the warm” ching boom boom.. Hello world.
So I know I know I tweet sparingly but it’s normally an event and this is no exception. I’ll try to do better
So the brand new website and logo is up walkitcornwall.co.uk Enjoy. Whaddya think?

so I put up some photos of walks I normally do. Can't wait for the season to start.
Just getting back into the social media side of #walkitcornwall as the 2022 walking season seems to be attracting a lot of interest. Check the website too. The sun is coming from out behind the dark clouds (metaphorically:)
As we move into the autumn time and trees shed their leaves it is the yearly question. Are you an Autumn person or a spring person? And why?
Me? I'm a spring person as it means the unfurling of new life, looking forwards.
Just set up a new twitter account devoted to #shinrinyoku or #forestbathing in Cornwall. Having guided people for 20 years walking I will guide how we can use our senses to enjoy nature for mental and physical health. Go to @shinrinyokucor1 and say Hi. #reconnect
8th in the series of #photosofcornwall. I'm starting researching a PhD on #footpathsincornwall about their possible uses in the 21stC for a #lowcarboneconomy and in a #climateandecologicalemergency. Will be choosing and working with upto 20 Cornish parishes. Any parishes worthy?
7th in the series of #photosofcornwall seems to sum up the present weather. But out of darkness comes the light. Looking west from St Agnes Beacon.
Walking is the great adventure, the first meditation, a practice of heartiness& soul primary to mankind. Walking is the exact balance of spirit & humility. Out walking one notices ecology on the level where it counts - Gary Snyder.
Can you put it any better?
6th in series. Always good to walk around a carpet of flowers in Cornwall. Spring 2 Autumn. Will be #plantingwildflowers on my home patch next year. This is squill on the Lizard #southwestcoastpath. @swcoastpath @NESouthWest @FalmouthTownUK @SWCornwallNT @LizardNT
Oh Canada!
“This was the largest remaining intact ice shelf, and it’s disintegrated, basically,” said one scientist.
The shelf was bigger than New York City.

5th in the series. Footpaths epitomise how peoples lives have been lived. Their dreams, work, connections to place, thoughts and inspiration are almost palpable in the worn tracks laid down @swcoastpath @FalmouthTownUK @LizardNT @HikesUK @ILoveCornwallUK @IloveSWcoast @ESDale77
What a present! My wonderful friend #nigelskews made this fab bird table from offcuts from his sons bookshelves. Hope he told him. Well he’ll find out soon enough.
New blog on Localism. It involves reimagining and rethinking and many “re” words in the midst of #aneedforchange @robintransition inspirational book.

We welcome the Government's initiative to get more people on their bikes and walking. Cycling and walking is better for everyone, and fewer cars on the road means less traffic for those who do need to drive. Let's help ourselves to help the NHS. It's time to #RediscoverYourWorld
4th in series of #photosofcornwall Looking from North Hill Point #Roseland to #Falmouth. We walk for vistas like these. We create memories with historic layers and their stories laid before us. Understanding "#place" enhances the view

Lunch on #bodminmoor. New routes, new no entry signs and fences and an eventually friendly “argument” with a landowner. Ask first you might get a good response.
