A little portable action to get out of the house and decompress. Unfortunately didn’t activate the park but just getting out and playing radio is the big win for me.
30 cents and 2 clips slowed it down enough for me. Next weigh what’s there and make something so it doesn’t look like a Frankenstein key.
Dusted this off. Time to get it back on the air. Need to slow it down a bit. Maybe I can make a heavier weight or extend the current ones out past the roller stop.
Wow, forgot I missed sats. Jumped on AO-123 tonight. Picked up W1AW/p2 & @N2FYA_John. Unfortunately was half duplex but managed just fine.
Trying something new, FM only this year on the microwave bands. Trying to be extra portable using a HT. The IF radio the ID52 waterfalls can be helpful finding signals. The dits tho unable to hear, it’s visible on the HT from the test signal source. (Dirty baofeng)
Bodes and Cigar Galaxy tonight. 1 hour of 1 minute exposures. Still learning but having fun as I go.
Hoping to get an image tonight. Still have to focus the guide scope and the main scope. But I should have clear skies till midnight.
Finally got around setting up a Allstar node. Took some figuring out with the Dell 3040 now it’s running pretty good.
Decided to flash the 2nd Lilygo 433mhz node to have 2 separate RX nodes for Lora Sats.
Still using the mag mount 1/4 wave for the one. 2nd is using a 433mhz ground plane.
I’ll run it for awhile to see the difference in RX. Then I’ll be testing a QFH antenna once I build it.
