Easiest way to get 5 star views for your app :
ask all your ugc creators to leave reviews during the warmup period
I just realized, the best ugc creators i've hired have all been inbound. It makes sense because
> they already understand the value prop
> are excited to promote the app
> are proactive and better communicators
keep an eye on your dms guys!
the most overlooked demographic in ugc is midwestern moms in their early 20s
while everyone is chasing sorority girls
> they are the same age & pass off as college students
> just as internet native
> better communicators
> more dependable
> relatively underpriced
i'm finally making a ugc playbook but i want to avoid the basics that you can just google. what question should i cover that you haven't found answers to anywhere?
p.s: we did 9m views and 20k downloads in 30 days
i spent 6 months trying to figure how to marker my app, then went from 0 -> 20k installs in a month only using UGC !!
Prayer Lock was taken down today
Classic case of apple having arbitrary rules that are enforced on a whim
With no concrete standards that everyone is measured against, there is 0 incentive to follow the rules
The review has to be deterministic NOT probabilistic
This app does $100k/month and every screen of its onboarding breaks a different Apple rule.
I went through the Prayer Lock onboarding and I get why one article called it a masterclass.
It asked me to rate the app TWICE before I’d done anything.
The paywall says FREE in giant letters with “no payment now”. The $39.99/yr you’re actually signing up for is the smallest text on the screen.
I declined and got an exit offer: $0.76/week, the real charge is nowhere on that screen.
And there’s a discount countdown sitting in my dynamic island and on my lock screen as I write this 😭
Every one of these converts, that's exactly the problem. The devs following the rules are the ones losing.
I generated 6M views in last 30 days, here’s the breakdown
> 3.8M on insta
> 1.6M on fb reels
> 450k on youtube
> 150k on tiktok
If you’re not asking your ugc creators to post on fb and yt you’re mission out on millions of free views
Looking for a manychat alternative for DM automation, preferably something with no limits on number of DMs that can be sent in a month..

I made a website that plays bangers from indian barbershops
before you became fancy and started visiting salons. you once went to a 'saloon'. ₹20 haircuts. simple hairstyles with music that could fix your soul.
saloon.wtf
I see the merit in having a detection tool but this will have unintended consequences
People will be quick to equate:
ai written = low quality
I hope we judge the output based on its merits, not the tools used to produce it
Today, Substack is launching an AI detection feature, via an integration with @pangram. Going forward, you’ll be able to scan posts, replies, and comments on the Substack app to see an estimate of how much of it was written by a human, or with AI assistance.
Indian society has reached a point where ordering snacks from qq is more convenient than finding the snacks in your kitchen!!!
People really need to come up with better hooks!
Everyday I see a new tool claiming to be
> “Claude for marketing”
and the founders retweeting with
> “this is terrifying”
But the only thing terrifying is the blatant lack of creativity and shameless copying. Plz do better.
A large majority of people don’t listen to podcasts for entertainment, they listen for the insights!
