For the last year+, @josh_tobin_ and I have been building Gantry @gantry_ml to help ML teams understand and improve their ML applications.
Today, I'm excited to launch our beta and announce our Series A!

We want to make ML work well in the real world, with real users. And we want that without duct-taping queries and scripts in a notebook, or a team of 20 ML infra engineers.
This is why we are building Gantry. ML teams should be able to analyze and iterate on their ML app with confidence and rigor.

TL/DR -- retraining isn't the hard part, monitoring is.
My experience is there's often a deeper reason why ML teams don't invest in monitoring than what Ethan points out here.
