I partially agree. The AI models are increasingly moving closer to compensate for the issues in actuators. More companies would want to work with actuators makers.
The tons of robotic companies I spoke to just said they use what others are using 🥲. It pretty much is cliche. Except few like apptronik or boston dynamics who would want to make their own actuators.

Good news I guess? More off the shelf gears for similar projects on their website.
How's the weight compared to current generation of planetary geared actuators? I understand the impact resistance will be strength but are trade offs too far? Why isn't it common with robotic companies?
@osd_cmkarnataka sir fyi.

This is so cool! How does the cooling work? With all that fur over the actuators and frame - it looks like an interesting engineering problem.

@GBA_office @BlrCityPolice sir, this is going on for few week. Works starts as early as 5 am. How do they get permission to operate heavy machinery this early morning?

I was living under a stone. Someone please educate me. Is this PE acquisition?

I hate them from my gut. @FinanceBuddha Keeps popping up on whatsapp. @kunalb11 should really take cognizance on this.

Ah that makes sense. We are talking two different points. My bad.

The non linearities will come under load condition. Ideas charaterization is already given by them here . You can back calculate current from it through motor Kv. What you need to define is how the actuator reaches a given torque and speed under certain load conditions
Replying to @johnfurr538500
Well you are good for bench test with no load. But how do you plan to get speed vs current under different loads? It varies and those numbers would matter a lot. Isn’t it?
Replying to @johnfurr538500
How much load and torque are you planning to test. What kind of actuator is it?
