On an @AvantiWestCoast with failed air conditioning in both wheelchair accessible coaches. 37.5C. Laughable. And of course I have no other option.

This of course exceeds the maximum temperature at which you can transport livestock.

Morning @northernassist. Quick question; do you think this rail replacement service from Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool last night was wheelchair accessible, or not?

Apparently, after checking for very nearly thirty seconds, the driver claimed that the lift "didn't work" and that "seats are in the way". You would think that that would already be clear before the coach left the depot though, right?

Replying to @British_Airways
@British_Airways someone needs to contact me asap I have arrived in Malta alone and you’ve BROKEN my chair. The ground crew totally fucked me over I knew something was off and now I can’t go back on that flight to London because it’s left.

The icing on today’s cake is that despite booking there was no assistance at @NetworkRailEUS. They say they were expecting me on a different train.
Hello @northernassist, me again. Forgotten by the guard, fellow passengers had to find staff to get me off the train. And I’d booked. I know today has been messy, but if your procedures don’t work under stress then they don’t work.

More slow & cancelled trains, more @PassAssistance failures. Also @AvantiHelpTeam you really ought to have a dedicated number for assistance. Thankfully your train crew are on the ball. Whoever develops the app are stealing a living.

Morning @TPExpressTrains - I have just been left for over ten minutes, forgotten on a train at Liverpool Lime Street. Your guard had put me on the train but not informed assistance, which is fine, but they need to help me off the train if they’re going to do that.

Also nobody responded to the emergency alarm - presumably the driver had left the train already.

Again, @PassAssistance falls apart when trains encounter problems - which is exactly when it’s needed most. Rethink required.

I’ve been waiting a week already for a reply to said complaint. It’s clearly going very well.
The Customer Experience Centre will look into your case accordingly, I am sorry that your assistance did not go as planned. ^VR

Another example of @PassAssistance app being pointless. Falls apart at the first sign of a delay - which are frequent, given the state of the railways.

Another day, another @northernassist assistance failure. As we all know, I use a wheelchair. Assistance booked. Arrive at my destination, guard oblivious, has to be alerted by some kind and observant passengers (I was travelling alone).

He then has a moan to me about Network Rail. Guess what bud. I don't care who is to blame here. I did everything I was supposed to - more in fact, given it's all in the Passenger Assistance app on this occasion. Northern. Get your act together.

To be clear - in my book this counts as an assistance failure. Northern did not get me to my destination, some plucky locals did.

Yet another cancelled, broken down @northernassist train. Maybe buy some new trains?

The @British_Airways app is absurdly awful. How does such an enormous company survive with something that just doesn't work? It doesn't even work a little bit.
