Dropping a new #BinaryNinja plugin for parsing metadata for #NativeAOT compiled malware! Ported from the excellent work done by @washi_dev and @vinopaljiri. github.com/YungBinary/binja-…

I built a Binary Ninja diffing tool that lets you visualize differences directly in Binary Ninja, with support for multiple Intermediate Languages (ILs). It uses Quarkslab's QBinDiff for the diffing engine, and getting started is as simple as dragging and dropping two binaries.

Last week to signup for our online Firmware Reverse Engineering course: shop.binary.ninja/products/f… We're going to cover how to work with raw FW binaries in Binja, emulation / fuzzing, writing custom workflows to clean up decompilation, AI augmentation, and more.

Zenyard is coming to Binary Ninja. 🥷 Binary Ninja has become home to some of the most innovative researchers in the space and it was just a matter of time before we launched here. Kyle Martin from @vector35 , Yuval Luria and Ziv Brandstein from Zenyard on June 24th for a live stream. We'll show the full workflow on a real target: whole-binary analysis, renaming across the entire file, multi-file analysis and asking the agent questions grounded in full-binary understanding. 👉 youtube.com/live/JG15oxrWgp0…

Replying to @0x_nik0 @quarkslab
I also created an architecture for binary ninja that actually properly shows functions and operations that in my opinion made it easier to see how the VM works. @vector35 has a really nice tool!

Dear folks, How are you doing? I wanted to share with everyone the news that based on my most recent "When Data Mining Conti Leaks Leads to Actual Binaries and to a Hardcoded C2 With an Encryption Key on Tripod.com - Part Five" blog post - ddanchev.blogspot.com/2026/0… where I actually found several CWE flaws including a hardcoded decryption key in the actual encrypted file for a Conti Ransomware sample which I obtained from 2020 as I further continued pursuing my belief that this is the case with other related Conti Ransomware binaries today I came across to a second Conti Ransomware sample which is doing exactly the same namely storing the decryption key in the actual encrypted file where I'll soon summarize my findings and publish them. Also for the record in my previous "When Data Mining Conti Leaks Leads to Actual Binaries and to a Hardcoded C2 With an Encryption Key on Tripod.com" - ddanchev.blogspot.com/2026/0… blog post series I also came across to a relatively interesting wrapper function called "Asshole". “AssHole” wrapper purpose and mechanics Literal marker: "AssHole" at 0x405558. Alphabet used by transform: "0123456789abcdef" at 0x405544. And. Both send_data_to_c2 and recv_command_from_c2 incorporate "AssHole" directly into the transform pipeline: On send: the outgoing buffer is combined with "AssHole" and passed through encode_obfuscated_hex_string (0x4024a0). On receive: the received blob is combined with "AssHole" and passed through decode_obfuscated_hex_string (0x402620). I'll continue pursuing my belief that this hardcoded decryption key mentality might be the case with other related Conti Ransomware samples and I'll soon publish my findings. The more malware samples the merrier. Special thanks to @vector35's BinaryNinja reverse engineering product and service of which I'm a proud user. Thanks, Dancho

It’s finally here: radare2 + Warp (warrp) ⚡️ This makes r2 the first tool outside of the binary ninja ecosystem to adopt the format. Huge thanks to Mason (from @vector35) and @trufae (@radareorg) for their invaluable feedback's during development. github.com/radareorg/warrp

Once you have the DEX inside the APK, you can decompile it using @vector35 #BinaryNinja and a plugin called #Banjo. This is here is a decoder function used in the loader DEX that unpacks the payload DEX that is the second stage of #Crocodilius. github.com/ivision-research/…

There is also an XOR decryption function that changes the integers used across builds of the malware.

Ready to level up your CTF skills? We dropped a BinaryNinja-powered walkthrough that breaks down the solve process for "Miss Analyzer," a PWN challenge from '25 OSUGaming CTF. See how elite players think through binaries & find flag. 🔗 hubs.li/Q0477d5S0 @vector35

We've uploaded our live stream from RE//verse 2026 where we sat down with @emesarecom from @vector35 to discuss WARP signatures used for symbol and type information recovery. Mason is a wealth of knowledge and it was a pleasure speaking with him at this amazing event!

How about staying fair and doing the same for BN? Here's BNSQL, a SQL interface for bndb(s). - SQL Queries - Full SQLite syntax for complex analysis - Natural Language - AI-powered agent understands questions in plain English - Many Virtual Tables - Functions, strings, imports, xrefs, segments, and more - 20+ SQL Functions - disasm(), hex(), func_at(), xrefs_to(), save(), etc. - Decompilation - decompile() function, pseudocode, hlil_vars, hlil_calls tables for HLIL analysis - Fast Startup - ~5s for pre-analyzed databases (skips re-analysis) - Plugin + CLI - Use inside Binary Ninja or from command line - MCP mode - Simple Restful mode for AI agents @vector35 github.com/0xeb/bnsql
Introducing IDA SQL [ github.com/allthingsida/idas… ], a tool I have been sleeping on since last summer. It takes a different approach to exposing IDA database and make it extremely friendly to Coding Agents and CLI tools. - AI Agent - Natural language queries with Claude or GitHub Copilot #copilotsdk - SQL Interface - Full SQL access to functions, strings, imports, xrefs, instructions, types - Unified Entity Search - jump_entities() searches everything: functions, types, members, enums (think "Jump Anywhere") - Standalone CLI - Query .i64 files without opening IDA GUI - IDA Plugin - SQL/AI interface inside IDA's command line - Remote Server - Query IDA from external tools, scripts, or coding agents - IDA SQL is built on top of libxsql and libagents

Shoutout to @tsunek0h for their binja swift plugin as my swift string parser was not as good and this helped speed things up :) We have some simple ObjC/Swift bridging to locate the .sh file within the resources directory of the app bundle. (and helpful comments)
