Always awesome to see the @vdidesignguide in the @VMwareExplore book store. Even more awesome to see the book next to the Enterprise Architect book that helped me prepare for my #VCDX certificate. Coincidence that I bumped into @MarkGabbs there? Who knows!

Best session of the conference. Scott Schultz from @Topgolf explains how they used @vmwarehorizon and @NVIDIAVirt to virtualize a game to augment Angry Birds. Proud that I have played a small role in this perfect use case for gaming on VDI! Find this case in the @vdidesignguide!

Nice article John! VDI workloads have some typical characteristics, which are partly dictated by the behavior of the desktop OS, but also by the application landscape and the end user. Be sure to know what you are sizing for and ALWAYS run an assessment to know the use cases..
