Please consider supporting our fundraiser to raise money for the Balmoral mural. Trey's last project.
Weve started and you can come by and say hi at 159 East Hastings. A big thanks to @oddfellowsent for all of your support.
We had some unexpected costs due to a few city requirements that we wont get in to but the city is also providing the lot and the paint so we are not complaining.

By blaming drug users we are actually putting the blame on the symptom of way bigger problems that are harder to deal with.
Its such an easy target because its what you can see. The real issue is how these drugs get in to Canada. The real issue is extreme povery. Saving people is the least that can be done.
Blaming poor people is a distraction and its not helpful in solving the Overdose crisis and the chaos that it has created. @scoopercooper

Of course housing should be improved for people. Buisnesses shouldn't have to deal with chaos. But, putting people out in the street is not a better option until there is a better option. I think we allready have enough people in the streets. I am hearing due to shutting down these places these folks are being prioritized for housing which means current homless are struggling to find any housing. And the people from these SROs are just getting put in to other SROs so its not an upgrade. More homless doesn't mean less chaos. Fentanyl has changed everything.

WATCH: What makeover of Granville Street? Longtime business owner says chaos has returned and he blames SROs the BC government promised to close.

"purchasing hard drugs from Tax Payer Funded OPS" You are such a misinformed liar. This is called "rage baiting"

What a ignorant thing to say. Ignorant because many drug users have disabilities and fall through the cracks. They use drugs to find relief from mental health issues like bipolar, autism etc. Also unfortunately with repeated overdoses people can have significant brain damage, lose limbs.
