SECOND OBSERVER VIII is the final work created for The Second Observer and the last 1/1 still available from the series.
The series asks what human emotion looks like to an intelligence that can see it, but cannot feel it.
VIII is where the question becomes quiet:
touch, reflection, stillness, the body holding itself through multiplied gestures.
Not observation anymore, but reconstruction.
The final witness is available. 0.05 ETH reserve.

New Acquisition: MoMA📍
I am thrilled to announce that the @MuseumModernArt has acquired the diptych of the Mother and Daughter from my Invisible Line series. It was acquired through the generosity of Lori Ordover via Kopeikin Gallery. I love to think about how these images and their story will now be preserved into the future and share wall space with works from many artists that have influenced the way I see the world.
Daughter on the USA-Mexico Border Wall, at Friendship Park, California., Mother on the Mexico-USA Border Wall, Friendship Park, Playas de Tijuana, Mexico, 2017.

Biggest thank you and my congratulation to @joepease @house0fnucci @IWannabeeNFT @uweg ! Super glad you've added the works to your collection!
Also big big thank you to everyone who's participated will be taking note for upcoming new project, when time is due!
🖤
when kicking off the project, @TransientLabs asked me if I work with generative art, because the idea involved a large number of artworks to be created
“I'm no coder" I said, “but biting off more than I can chew is my way of working; I'll do it manually.”
so one-by-one, I threw pixels on a canvas, broke them, animated them, refined the colors and swapped textures; with intention, until each felt right
on top of that, I pull out my Wacom tablet, sampled parts of the gifs and hand-drew the w0rms, there is something deeply personal and human in that gesture imo
so yeah, this was ambitious, but im here for that
alright, I went a bit mad at one point, felt like I was myself turning into a robot
but looking back now I feel its even more pertinent to the core idea of the project
“I used to make art for humans”
going live on October 15th

I miss the old AI. The raw "wtf am I looking at?" effect that the early days had. Shout out to the legendary @katiemorrisart
