There has been good news. 80% of Covid cases in ICU are now surviving. Even 90-year-olds in there have pulled through. As care becomes more targeted, Covid need not be a death sentence. Let’s hear more positive stories and have a sense of hope.

The great outdoors. Camping. Caravanning. Fresh air, safe holidays. @JSHeappey Please could you ask Govt to consider that touring parks should not be left behind in next phase? Seasonal by nature, we have less time to salvage our summer, than say, hotels who are year round🙏
Please consider @10DowningStreet @michaelgove @OliverDowden @HuddlestonNigel
Risks lower in great outdoors

Dear @BorisJohnson
Campsites have weeks until autumn. To deny families the great outdoors & single them out for extended lockdown against scientific logic and international experience, is to sign their business death warrant.

Well done @AndrewCTourism for providing relevant information to WG that has resulted in step in the right direction. Pleased @fmwales said further relaxation of restrictions could occur within 3 week period. Hope @KenSkatesMS & advisers will consider new steps taken by hoteliers

Apparently we’re fundamental to tourism, not been getting that vibe from @WelshGovernment . Feel more like we’re toxic and our lovely customers bring nothing to Wales. @fmwales prove me wrong on Friday.
.@WelshGovernment Tourism:
“sector..fundamental to the Welsh economy..cannot reopen unless the local community stands by tourism..important job to make sure people are comfortable”
Also essential to #ProtectTourismJobs livelihoods & our rural/coastal communities
