Interesting read - Just add this to the rest of the damage the WG are doing to our tourism sector. Wales tourism tax could axe 700 jobs in holiday sector says Government report walesonline.co.uk/news/wales…

Hearing this an awful lot from high street businesses who are provide a lot of entry level job opportunities for young people, returners and those juggling family and caring responsibilities - it’s the halving of the threshold which is the hammer blow. Time to think again

This can’t carry on, just about to send our friend home to London and this again. April is fast approaching, is the contract to be renewed for @AvantiWestCoast it needs some serious consideration as at the moment they are not fit for purpose.
Day 1 of #bhhpa23 nearly done! Thanks to the brilliant and hard working @BHHPA team and the fantastic speakers! Looking forward to what tomorrow has to offer!

A busy day at the BHHPA Conference 2023 for the team. We've had visitors a plenty, and lots of interest in the presentations from Karen and Gareth.
We are looking forward to the Compass party this evening and hope to see more of you tomorrow

There is very good evidence that the data the HM Treasury used when deciding to u-turn on the VAT reclaim scheme was flawed. (1/3)
