With WWDC 2020 coming up, I realized our path to @PenbookApp started one year ago to the day.

This is a great writeup and perfectly captures our thinking with @PenbookApp’s pricing.
It took me a while to warm up to the idea, but I think @pschiller was right: for _most_ apps that might otherwise do paid updates, subscriptions are a much better option. Coming to that conclusion is part of why I joined @RevenueCat. I wrote about it here: revenuecat.com/2019/09/24/su…
