The Mayor has officially removed 5500 E. Yale from the list of micro-community sites. Thank you to everyone who contacted their representative, attended a town hall, researched, knocked doors, or chatted with a neighbor. @TubbsShow @DecayDenver

For a while now the political temperature in this country has been too high. When you spend years telling your side that the other team is an existential threat, you get days like today. Praying for the United States and President Trump. God bless America!

Spicy crowd at the information meeting about the homeless shelter being placed in the Embassy Suites. The Mayor of @DecayDenver entered to boos.

Paraphrasing an exchange. A question was asked about “when do we get to vote on this?” The mayor replied something to the effect of “you already did, I ran on this issue and got elected.”

Not surprising. They were lying with statistics at the town halls about crime in the area surrounding the safe outdoor spaces.

Weeks after Denver leaders were informed of the internal confusion over how Denver was measuring success in its anti-homelessness initiative, no public clarification was offered and Mayor Mike Johnston's spokesman told inquiring 9NEWS journalists that they were mistaken.

"According to Denver's own Yale Corridor Report, the area is a hotspot for car accidents. With no sobriety requirements and 100 new neighbors, I do have safety concerns for both the micro-community members and the motorists along Yale.” denvergazette.com/news/denve… @DecayDenver
