Help me elect Nathan!!
There are only two choices in this race. My opponent “MAGA Mayes” Middleton promises to misuse the office for purely partisan purposes. I pledge to restore the office to its constitutional purposes.

Having a senator who is willing to have difficult conversations for the purpose of genuine legislative progress is something every Texan should want. @kenpaxton will only take softball interviews whereas @jamestalarico meets people where they are. He is not an extremist.

FEMA to Texas: drop dead Who shows up for Texans after a disaster is on the ballot. Vote early. Election Day is November 3rd.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has decided against opening up funding for individuals needing help after the July 2026 floods in Texas. Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Division of Emergency Management are reviewing the decision and the process for appealing it, according to a statement from the governor’s office. bit.ly/4k81HuS

FYI, if this happened in a Texas polling place, that’s illegal.
Stood next my wife and told her exactly how to vote. For the record, zero “coercion” required. It brings her joy to aid her husband in crushing wicked men like James Talarico.

I’m ready to work with the Legislature to ensure the AG’s office can effectively protect Texans and serve the public interest. We must modernize our market competition, consumer protection, and employment laws to keep pace with emerging industries and technologies. I have a plan to get it done.

This morning, voters across Texas received a text from Don Huffines linking to his new official “whistleblower” portal. Using public office to campaign is the exact kind of fraud, waste, and abuse that Huffines is asking voters to report. Enough is enough.

After digging into this for two days… I’m fairly certain this was done by Republicans in an effort to anger you enough to make you vote. Have we become so desperate to secure votes that we are willing to compromise our morals, values, and principles to get them? Children were sent materials explaining how to pursue emancipation from their parents and directing them to resources that could assist them with gender transitioning. We are talking about minors, including children who may already be struggling with questions about their identity, being given information about potentially life-altering decisions without their parents necessarily knowing. If anyone is willing to excuse this simply because they believe it might benefit their political side, we have a much bigger problem. Children are not political pawns. Their vulnerability should never be exploited for a vote. We cannot claim to care about protecting children while abandoning those principles whenever doing so becomes politically inconvenient. If winning requires us to compromise the very values we claim to defend, what exactly have we won? Nothing. I’m disgusted.
Interesting little slip in the trans mailers.

Two things can be true at once 1. The ideas in this pamphlet are monstrous and should be ripped out of public discourse root and branch, along with anyone who earnestly supports them 2. The right-wing grifters responsible for sending these mailers to our children think voters are desperately stupid and that Paxton’s only shot at winning is creating outrage with dirty tricks - not exactly the talisman of a strong campaign or good candidate My exhortation - If you’re voting Paxton, do it because you genuinely believe he’s the better candidate, not because you fell for some dumb false-flag mailer

Team Johnson cast their ballots today and met some supporters along the way! Their excellent work has set us up for the win, and I’m lucky to have them by my side. Follow their example and vote! Early Voting ends October 30, and Election Day is November 3!

For decades, I have been a conservative Republican. I believe in limited government, local control, parental rights, fiscal responsibility, religious liberty, and protecting our children from government overreach. Those principles have not changed. But the Republican Party in Texas has. After years of researching legislation, following the money, testifying before the Texas Legislature, and watching what has happened under Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and Attorney General Ken Paxton, I believe conservative Texans need to confront an uncomfortable truth. The Republican establishment has become deeply dependent on billionaire donors, political action committees, powerful foundations, corporate interests, and unelected organizations that help shape public policy. Meanwhile, ordinary Republicans are expected to remain loyal, ask no questions, and vote RED. And when the leadership cannot defend its record, too often the political conversation turns to fear. The latest controversy involving deceptive political mailers and text messages is a perfect example of why Texans should question what they are being told. alicelinahan.substack.com/p/…

The rule of law is the rule of law, no matter your party. That’s why two former Texas Supreme Court justices, both appointed by a Republican governor and elected on the Republican ticket, endorsed me in this race. I’m honored by the confidence Chief Justice Tom Phillips and Justice Deborah Hankinson have placed in me.
