I hate to say it, but the American people can’t trust the validity of the Epstein files released today.
It was released in an unprofessional manner with paid, partisan social media influencers to curate their binders for us.
I can’t trust anything in the binder.
Neither should you.

The older I get, the more I’ve learned the power of saying less.
Most people talk too much, especially when they feel defensive. They over-explain, justify, and weaken their own point.
The person who stays calm, speaks clearly, and uses fewer words with more impact always wins.
Precision is power.

TODAY: Temperatures are now below freezing north of I-59, and they will stay steady through the day, or even drop a little lower.
Snow flurries and snow showers over North Alabama will continue; where heavier snow showers develop there could be a few icy spots on roads.
Snow flurries and showers will end this evening as the sky clears; temperatures will drop into the 10-18 degree range over the northern half of the state tomorrow morning…. 20s are likely down to the Gulf Coast.

Literally crying in the Target parking lot right now. 🧵
I was struggling with unloading my toddler, my bags and wrangling an unruly cart (seriously — why do some lack power-steering?) A fire truck from Redondo Beach (E61) had just parked nearby and four firefighters got out.

For the record, I have no issue helping out my fellow Americans, but why is Los Angeles getting special treatment compared to Maui, East Palestine, North Carolina, etc?

Being nice. This is beyond comprehension. I am sorry for how angry I get but I feel hopeless. FEMA is a failure the government of NC is a failure. We need men and women in government that will fight for you. I will not give up fighting for you. @JDVance @realDonaldTrump we need help.

Biden’s decision to treat the Taliban as U.S. “counterterrorism partners” is a disaster. They’re using American funds to protect & train ISIS along with 21+ other Islamist terror groups. The incoming administration must end this partnership— and the funding. @realDonaldTrump
👀🚨 JUST IN: Congressman Tim Burchett calls for President Trump to end the funding of the Taliban.
The US is currently funding the Taliban to the tune of $40 million PER WEEK.
Thank you @RepTimBurchett

In one of the most notable moments in sports history, Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was just a few feet from the finish line, but became confused with the signage and stopped thinking he had completed the race.
A Spanish athlete, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him, and after realizing what was happening, he started shouting at the Kenyan for him to continue running; but Mutai didn't understand his Spanish.
Fernandez eventually caught up to him and instead of passing him, he pushed him to victory.
A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?"
Ivan replied, “My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life where we push and help each other to win.” The journalist insisted “But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win.” The journalist insisted again, “But you could have won!”Ivan looked at him & replied, “But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor of that medal?
What would my Mom think of that?”
Values are transmitted from generation to generation.
What values are we teaching our children?
Let us not teach our kids the wrong ways to WIN.

Her dad told her, "If you marry that man you will never set foot in this house again."
Mary soon learned that most people felt the same way.
The first years of their marriage living in Birmingham were hell-- no one would speak to them, they couldn’t find anywhere to live because no one would rent to a black man, and they had no money. But they didn't give up.
Gradually life became easier. Mary got teaching jobs, ending up as a deputy head teacher. Jake worked in a factory and then got a job at the Post Office. Slowly they made friends, but it was difficult. Mary used to tell people, "before I invite you to my home.... my husband is Black." Some would never talk to her again.
Last year they celebrated their 74th anniversary and they are still very much in love, and never regretted what they did.'

This Memorial Day weekend I honor the 200 Powhatan Natives who were given poisoned wine during peace negotiations back in May 1623.
Again, you would’ve known this — had it been taught to you in school.

BREAKING: Music superstar Dave Matthew infuriates Republicans by ripping lawmakers for falsely convincing Americans that they are "powerless" to stop gun violence and that the “vulnerability of innocent people in this country is a sacrifice we have to make if we want to be truly American.”
“It’s so mind-bogglingly cruel. It’s insanity,” said Matthews.
“I have no idea how people can stand up and say it’s ‘not guns’ and ‘NRA,’ it’s just mental health," he went on. "And then do nothing to address the fact that from the ‘80s we’ve closed every mental health institution we can in this country."
Matthew said that he has "many" friends who own firearms but they all agree that the would prefer that "a person can’t go into a school and blow people away after buying a gun.”
He then took aim squarely at right-wing paranoia and Fox News talking points by saying that "no is coming from your guns" but that we need a "conversation without mad outrage" about what can be done.
“I don’t like being afraid of my children being murdered at school. I’ve had to deal with my kids being at university when there is a shooting and they’ve lost friends,” he added.
Retweet to thank Dave Matthews for taking a stand!

The ages and backgrounds of each and every one of those shooters differs.
But two things do not -
Innocent people were murdered going about their daily lives, and an AR-15 or a version of an AR-15 was used to murder them.
How the hell is banning them even UP for debate?
