brilliant together, it’s genuinely lol funny, the music and choreography is banging and it‘s home grown, what more could you want?

@CakeMusical was raucous, brash, funny, packing an emotional punch or two. Fascinating true story told well.
Great chemistry between @ZiziStrallen & @iamreneelamb
Stripped back basic set worked so well, ensemble all made the most of their material, some amazing dance moves.

Just been to the matinee of @CakeMusical - really enjoyed a press event earlier this year when we were treated to a short preview. I LOVED the show, so much fun and SO MUCH TALENT! Full West End run next please - the citizens demand it!

Just seen CAKE in its short showcase run at the Lyric: the next historical musical cult is born! Yes, it’s a bit of SIX and HAMILTON, with a MOULIN ROUGE vibe too; but @DrewMcOnie’s choreography galvanises it, and @ZiziStrallen is an instant corseted seduction!
