outcomemaxxing is the new tokenmaxxing
I'd much rather work with someone who flexes much they accomplished with the fewest amount of tokens vs how many tokens they spent, and I sense this is a major trend in general How we quantify this as an industry is still TBD, probably a major new set of benchmarks

Anti-AI skeptics are far too focused on what was lost, than what has been gained.

How am I supposed to trust AI agents when they are this dumb?

If you think you've run out of things to build, just talk to customers or watch demos. Trust me, you'll find a million improvements to make.

Here to collect my clout
If I had to pick one topic to research and focus on right now, it wouldn’t be AI. It would be the bond market.

You can either fight the future, or you can grow with it and see how it can benefit you and your customers. That is what makes any good company great over decades. I genuinely can’t believe how strong the anti-AI stigma is among gamers. It’s made planning an AI game jam so hard when we all just wanna have fun!

the future of software engineering is gentle parenting for agents
New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control. In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale. Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…

I agree but it’s important to note that it doesn’t matter how right your thesis is, if you buy at the wrong price you’ll still lose money.
some napkin math for the "ai bubble" obviously all data created will pass through an llm in the future, which is 100000x more data than now so if model cost goes down 100x, we will only need 1000x more gpus

One of the most fascinating things I learned recently was that the idea of a 5 day work week was introduced by capitalists. Once cars were introduced, people wanted Americans to have 2 days to travel farther and thus, spend more money on food and hotels thus driving consumerism.

My wife and I are vibecoding a website together talking to the same Finite Agent. She has it pulling in tons of pictures and blog posts from an old squarespace site she had. (I just helped a little with Cloudflare stuff and some minor tweaks.) She has no idea what code is. Never shipped software before. She just tells it what to do it and it does it. It's so so cool. Her new site costs her nothing, looks so much better, and she has the pride of knowing she made it exactly how she wanted. It's so fulfilling to help non-technical people realize how easy it is to just build things now. Can't believe developers gatekept this world from us for so long.

It is remarkably hard to hit your Claude Code 5h session limit if you're aware of when the cache expires and frequently start new chats. Remember, cache hits are 10x cheaper.

My 5 year car loan is officially a lower interest rate than the yield of a US government 5 year treasury bond. 🇺🇸 Thank you @SecScottBessent

Having AI is like having a magic lamp with unlimited wishes. And it requires you to be specific. If you ask a genie for a billion dollars, the genie will snap his fingers, the money lands in your bank account, the bank's fraud system flags you and you're arrested the next day.

Can you help me understand why you don't make various Anthropic resources available via MCP? Maybe I'm missing something.
