I’m not sure how difficult this is to understand. You are a fcking brainwashed moronic idiot if you voted to stay. You are my enemy now. I cannot even begin to imagine how stupid you have to be to want to stay in Canada under these conditions

Elections Alberta noted in advance that the province had 3,148,343 eligible voters. The problem is that the numbers below add up to 4,352,679 votes cast. So not only were there 1,204,336 more votes cast than eligible voters, which is bad enough, but I guess we're also supposed to believe that 100% of the 3M+ eligible voters cast a ballot. Can someone explain how blatant electoral fraud isn't involved?
Alberta Election Referendum only had 38% more votes than actual eligible voters. 2.7 million advanced valid votes I guess whoever Elections Alberta wants to win will win this referendum.

The 4.35M total in the image is labelled "valid votes across all 10 questions", so each ballot is counted once per question. Elections Alberta reported 837,791 advance-poll voters and 519,082 special ballots, out of 3,148,343 eligible electors (43%). ca.news.yahoo.com/alberta-refere…

BREAKING: Before receiving $150,000 from China, UN expert Ben Saul was privately emailing Beijing officials. At the UN tomorrow, Saul will accuse the U.S. of “crimes against humanity,” and demand states withhold military assets from America. He must now face U.S. sanctions.
Meet Australian professor Ben Saul: The U.N. expert on human rights and counterterrorism. He received $150,000 from China then refused to issue any statements on China’s persecution of the Uyghurs, which Beijing justifies as “counterterrorism.” 🧵 See his bias on full display:

“One may support independence, oppose it or remain undecided. But calling the discussion extremist is not an argument, calling its supporters traitors is not an answer, and shaming citizens into silence is not democracy. “
In the Reference re Secession of Quebec case, the Supreme Court did not dismiss the potential separation of a province as treasonous or illegitimate. It treated it as a serious democratic and constitutional question.  The Court stated:  “A functioning democracy requires a continuous process of discussion… No one has a monopoly on truth, and our system is predicated on the faith that in the marketplace of ideas, the best solutions to public problems will rise to the top. Inevitably, there will be dissenting voices. A democratic system of government is committed to considering those dissenting voices.”  The Court explained that our democratic institutions accommodate “a continuous process of discussion and evolution,” including the right of each participant in Confederation to initiate constitutional change.  The Court also explained what would happen if the people of a province clearly expressed a desire to leave Canada stating:  “The continued existence and operation of the Canadian constitutional order could not remain indifferent to a clear expression of a clear majority of Quebecers that they no longer wish to remain in Canada.”  In other words, a referendum does not itself cause separation or change the Constitution. A clear majority voting on a clear question would instead give the democratic legitimacy for constitutional negotiations. It does not guarantee any particular outcome.  Yet many people are making things up about how this process would work. They suggest that merely discussing independence, advocating for it or even voting in a referendum would somehow automatically change Canada’s constitutional order. That is simply not true. It is fearmongering.  If Quebecers were entitled to have that discussion, Albertans are entitled to have it too. The Supreme Court even set out the process a province would have to follow, and Parliament later confirmed that process in the Clarity Act.  One may support independence, oppose it or remain undecided. But calling the discussion extremist is not an argument, calling its supporters traitors is not an answer, and shaming citizens into silence is not democracy.  If the discussion is lawful and the process is clearly set out in Canadian law, why is there so much vitriol toward the citizens who want to have it?  That question reveals what this is really about.  It is not fundamentally about right and left.   The real divide is not between neighbours who vote differently. It is between unaccountable power and a public demanding answers.

Foreigners parked in the red in this residential neighborhood in San Francisco, California The homeowners association has a contract with this tow truck driver to tow anyone blocking the fire lane. The foreigners are furious saying they are going to destroy his business with coordinated bad reviews, make him lose his contact with the homeowners community and other threats Again, this tow truck driver is just doing his job and he’s being threatened to have his business destroyed…. Imagine going into someone else country and then not following their rules and demanding everyone cater to you… Just deport them all

Continuing to pray for Wainwright as the sun rises over the prairies this morning. This is an unimaginable tragedy. The loss hits both the Canadian Armed Forces and the community of Wainwright hard. It is a military town, they are tough, but their hearts are as big as the prairie sky. Wanting answers and speculating is human nature, but in a moment like this, take time to pause and honour those affected: the victims, their families, and those waiting in agonizing uncertainty. There will be time for questions. For now, remember there are people receiving the knock on the door or the phone call that is every family’s worst nightmare. Pray for those fighting for their lives. Pray for those in pain. Pray for those shattered by loss, and pray for those who are sitting, or rushing to sit, at a hospital bedside.
