No one had a problem with Sam becoming Cap at the beginning.
Then he starred in an awful, hateful show where he rejected the shield and even said it should be destroyed before sympathizing with terrorists.
Then he starred in one of the worst marvel movies ever made all while losing all semblance of the character he had.
No one cares about him as Cap now.
Marvel failed with him.
He only stays in the role because of people like you who would cry racism if Marvel ever moved on.

Everything most women want from a man costs money. Everything men want from a woman is free.
Yet even the free things (respect, accountability, and peace), most women still refuse to give.

The team doesn't care about the magic system, and the excuse of it being the future doesn't make sense since it's a post-apocalyptic world where most of the old ways were lost...
Ans benders are rare... it's no longer a spiritual art that requires effort... it's just X-Men mutant shit, now.

Just seen someone call the Captain America joke that Ant Man makes a "racial microaggression"

Marvel never knows how to write a reformed villain without quietly turning off their superpowers.
In The Winter Soldier, Bucky was casually treating grown men like cannonballs and shredding aircraft with pure raw momentum. There’s genuine weight, speed, and bone-breaking impact behind every single motion he makes.
The second he gets redeemed, gets a shiny new Vibranium arm, and joins the good guys in Thunderbolts, suddenly his output drops by 80%. A super soldier who used to drop Quinjets single-handedly is suddenly struggling to lift construction debris unless he gets emotional support first.
The downgrade in his physical presence was very disappointing

Gunn’s biggest issue with his DCU is trying to subvert expectations.
Fans want a Green Lantern that resembles the characters and adventures of the comics. Gunn’s response “Let’s instead make it grounded, make Hal jaded, and John resent Hal while investigating a “True Detective” style case in a small Midwest town.
Fans want a great Batman movie set in the universe. Gunn’s response is to make a body horror film about Batman villain Clayface
Fans want an optimistic Superman who is all powerful. Gunn’s response is let’s nerf Superman’s powers, make him insecure, and let secondary characters do most of the heavy lifting
Fans want a Wonder Woman movie or at least a positive female superhero film. Gunn’s response makes a drunk Supergirl film where she resents everything including her cousin.
This films should not be hard to make but Gunn is determined to flip the script and try to force versions of the characters people don’t really want.
I want to share something that's been troubling me recently. I love to provide for my family and I have been doing it with everything I have been blessed with alhamdulillah, no questions asked. It's my worldly goal...1(Thread)
but it's that exact root sentiment that finds me with no companion to even raise this possibility to on this lonely hill. No one to blame though, I am the one who created this predicament for myself in my naive idealism.
