Fearful? Pray.
Anxious? Pray.
Hopeless? Pray.
Thankful? Pray.
Joyful? Pray.
Jesus has the answers. He has everything under control. He just wants us to pray.

RULE #2
THE CODE WORD
Your children have a code word that only the family knows.
If someone says, “Your mom sent me,” the child asks for the code word.
No code word = they don’t go. Not with a neighbor. Not with a teacher. Not even with a relative.
“A stranger can find out your child’s name.
They can’t know the code word.”

I'm thinking about redecorating my bathroom.
Should I go with the Walmart or Dollar General can liners?
Don't even ask about the Target liners. Those are for special occasions when we have company over.

“Before I sell it to you, may I ask what you normally use a pen for?”
Let them answer.
Then ask:
“What matters most to you in a pen—comfort, reliability, or appearance?”
Now sell based on their answer.
For example:
“If you're regularly signing important documents, you need something reliable and professional. This pen writes cleanly, feels comfortable in your hand, and gives you a consistent signature every time.”
Then close:
“Would you like to try it?”
The formula is simple:
Understand the customer → Identify the need → Connect the product to the need → Ask for the sale.
Don’t just sell the pen.
Sell the reason they need it.

The dishes are in the sink because people ate.
The shoes are by the door because people came home.
The toys are scattered everywhere because people were happy.
Some of the mess is proof of a good life.
Stay grateful.

I was watching @SamanthaBusch’s Instagram story about coming to Bristol this weekend, and in it she talks about how @TyGibbs has been like a big brother to Brexton, has picked him up to take him to lunch and breakfast and has gone out karting with him. She says Brexton came home one day and told her “We talked about our dads.” Powerful stuff, but good on Ty for playing such an important role for Brexton and makes it even more fitting that he’ll be driving the M&M’s scheme on Saturday night.

The only time I will mention the Clancy trial on here (as someone who spent 3 years in defence including a female NGRI homicide case. and actually WATCHED every single day of the trial - taking full attendance notes as if I was on the jury/defence).
I hope to god that none of the people cheering on that 1 male juror EVER get called for jury duty.
The fact you refuse to, or just pretend you don’t, understand that 11 people had reasonable doubt, and that this one man did admit he had doubts but said he didn’t care, completely ignoring the law on reasonable doubt and the judges instructions is genuinely frightening.
This was not a “I genuinely believe this on the facts, the forensic and testimonial evidence, and the judges instructions as to the law as to what’s being asked of me” and they simply disagreed on verdict. That wouldn’t be an issue. This man told his fellow jurors that yes, he did actually see points of doubt, but he was going to ignore that entirely.
He should be held in contempt as this is jurors misconduct. And I hope to god none of you ever have to be judged by a juror like that.
Genuinely embarrassing that some people think someone not following the law of the principle of reasonable doubt during the process of their civic duty is “based” or something to admire. And more embarrassing still, that you speak on this with such confidence without knowing a single element of the case other than what you’ve seen from snippets from right wing podcast bros online.
You didn’t watch the case, you don’t understand what’s even being asked of the jury, you continue to ignore the actual background of any of the legal arguments, you refuse to acknowledge the constitutional right of presumption of innocence and fair trial, you play “hear no evil, see no evil” around the ‘admissions’ without acknowledging all of the not guilty pleas, you don’t understand why an NGRI defence was raised or the circumstances surrounding it, and you don’t even understand what’s happening legally, forensically, medically, psychologically. Whatsoever.
Honestly disappointing seeing seemingly smart people behave like that. Particularly people who claim to have discernment.

Look at the date in this picture… July 25, 2015.
This was the post that started it all.
But what many people don’t know is that even before this moment, I had a simple prayer… I asked God to use me as His vessel. I didn’t get an answer that day. Not a month later. Not even a year later. It took time.
And then one day… this happened.
A simple act, pulling over to help someone in need—turned into something I never could have imagined. Looking back now, I’m still amazed at how one moment of obedience turned into a movement that has impacted thousands.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: when you ask God to use you, He will. It just might not happen on your timeline. And during that waiting season, He’s not ignoring you, He’s preparing you.
So stay ready. Stay faithful. Because when your moment comes… it can change everything.

My biggest question in the Lindsay Clancy case is why was the only unharmed family member not immediately considered a suspect? There are 3 dead kids and an unconscious woman on seen and you believe the man when he says she killed the kids and tried to kill herself?

One thing I will say about labor and delivery nurses and doctors from my experience is that when I had my kids, now 13, 8, and 5, never once did a nurse or doctor teach me or even make me aware of what PPD was. I think it’s a good starting point to teach new fathers the signs of PPD and the steps the father can take to help.

The women who support #LindsayClancy understand what it feels like to have your own mind turn against you. We’ve fought our way through dark places, clawed our way to the surface, and came out stronger on the other side.
To the women who are being ignorant, callous, and heartless: the unresolved trauma and mental health struggles behind some of these reactions are palpable. It takes far more courage to sit there and say, “I’m having dark, terrifying thoughts, I’m scared and I need help,” — which Lindsay reportedly did multiple times, to multiple people — than it does to sit behind a screen and judge someone whose experience you have never remotely lived through.
You don’t have to excuse what happened to understand that severe mental illness can distort a person’s thoughts, perception, and behavior. Empathy is not endorsement. Understanding is not forgiveness. And compassion does not erase accountability.
