So deeply disappointed by this and really demonstrates how the liberal classes simply will not learn. At a time when Palestinians who have been subjected to 100yrs of dehumanisation, dispossession & now genocide, it is beyond the pale to suggest them naming the POLITICAL IDEOLOGY responsible & seeking justice & decolonisation inline with int'l law & conventions is what's the issue NOT the mainstream derangement syndrome we have been subjected to by those who have enabled, if not actively facilitated, the genocide! History is on our side! This is a unifying motion that finally names the key issue & it demands we do the right thing, not the easy thing. @ZackPolanski continues to have our full support & has demonstrated moral leadership, as has @MothinAli unlike others.

The EU has already designated the Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organisation. We have sanctioned Iranian officials for undermining freedom of navigation and serious human rights violations.

I welcome the Home Secretary's clear response: every council, regardless of political control, must uphold equality law and protect its residents from discrimination.
Burnham has staked his house on bringing the cost of living down. Indicators are that it's going to rapidly get worse and he's proposed nothing that would help. Now talking of Austerity Mk 2 (or is it Mk 3? Mk 4? I lose track) I'm sure THIS time of doing the same thing will work.
