ALT Executive Orders have no power on their own. The State Department has to change its policy on passports for there to be any implementation, and that will not happen overnight. We don’t know what the real effects of the Executive Orders will be. There have not been any concrete changes to legal policies yet. Not everything proposed is actually something that can be executed. Some of this is meant to just cause fear, and not everything will happen in the same way/timeline everywhere. There will be legal challenges to the orders.
