21 years ago today, March, 16, 2003, the IDF fatally struck American peace activist Rachel Corrie with a bulldozer while she was trying to prevent the demolition of Palestinian homes in Rafah City in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli soldiers then celebrated her death by making pancakes since she was ‘flat as a pancake’.
The American Government allowed Israel to adjudicate the crime and absolve themselves from it.
While most Americans don’t even know her name, Palestinians honored her legacy by naming a street after her in Ramallah, West Bank—Rachel Corrie Street 🇵🇸

Good morning and Happy Saturday to everyone who wants to see the rules change in Congress to prevent one bratty idiot like Matt Gaetz from derailing the People's business all by his dumb, lonesome self.
Going 18 days without a Speaker of the House might seem hilarious to some people, or even necessary, but it's not.
This exercise is STUPID. If you remove one of the tires from your car, without a plan to replace it, you can't drive that car anywhere until you do.
They got rid of their weakass Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and had no concrete plan in place to replace him. And now none of the essential business of the American people can get done.
And taking care of business is so unimportant to House Republicans, they didn't stay to resolve it.
THEY WENT HOME. They broke the f*cking car, and went home. These are not people who should be in charge of running ANYTHING.
When Democrats were in charge of the House, we passed infrastructure bills, manufacturing, semiconductor bills, bills to help Veterans exposed to burn pits, so many damn bills.
Bills that Republicans voted against, and then tried to take credit for.
When it's time to cast your votes for the House of Representatives, don't just blindly select the person who has an R next to their name.
Remember that the Republicans left Americans stranded without a Speaker for 3 weeks and didn't care enough about it to stay and fix it.
VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS.
