Since coming back from injury Omar Cooper Jr. has been on 🔥 We are seeing the same route nuance, reliability, playmaking ability, & physicality from his Indiana tape. Through weeks 6 & 7 he’s accumulated 11 catches for 218 yards & 2 TD’s (1 was called back) Looking forward to seeing him get even better as the season progresses. #JetUp

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield

Sam's position is predictable (Buy my inference, please!), and dead wrong. Open models have enough horsepower RIGHT NOW to transform how we do business. These big providers aren't profitable. Don't fall for the scam - invest in local inference.
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources “a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

Someone looks like a first round bust, I won’t say any names
#Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty on facing the #Jets defense this week: "Yeah. I think we can definitely get the run game going. Get back on track. ... A couple guys out there that don't really want to tackle, but I'm not going to say names." 😳

That Riley Moss phantom PI is one of the worst calls I've ever seen, and that's saying something. We need replays for "fouls" like that. @NFLOfficiating @NFL

#Restaurant owners - can you please tell me how your businesses are doing right now? I have a bar and restaurant in upstate New York and I’m noticing that the business has slowed down significantly. Are we the only one feeling this hit? #bars #nightlife #helpinghand

As a #Jets fan, I get suspicious when the same people pushing Arch on us are lobbying hard for Mestemaker. What the (real) experts have been telling us is that these QBs have their pros and cons. The environment they enter matters.

Heartbreaking story. Koran Irvine who was a member of the Jets community was murdered Tuesday night. Praying for his wife and two children Sharing the go fund me link: gofundme.com/f/support-for-p…
🚨 RETIRED NYPD DETECTIVE ONCE HAILED AS A HERO NOW CHARGED WITH BRIDGE MURDER Victor Romero, 62, is accused of fatally shooting Koran Irvine, 46, during an apparent road-rage confrontation on the George Washington Bridge Tuesday. Investigators believe a single bullet pierced Irvine’s rear window, grazed a headrest and traveled through his shoulder and neck. Sources say Romero admitted to the shooting and surrendered a gun. Here’s the twist: In 2000, Romero was celebrated for confronting armed robbers at his family’s Brooklyn laundromat, surviving multiple gunshot wounds. Now the former narcotics detective faces a murder charge. Irvine leaves behind a wife and two children.

I'm in lockstep. Imagine being an official today and if you get it wrong your critics will be fined! @NFLOfficiating : Nice work if you can get it.
Let him keeping doing it and pay for the fine @woodyjohnson4

Grading trades is silly. We had folks declaring victory after the Quinnen trade. That trade happens years later but why not pump your fists if that makes you feel better. It's all about the rush to be first, to have an opinion, and be heard. A substitute for real self esteem.
The Colts have pulled off the biggest surprise of the trade deadline, acquiring expensive star Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner in exchange for some major high near-future draft picks 👀 More: sn-now.com/3LsEJzj

But I was told... Look, let them get their pieces back. This "injuries happen - it's the NFL" narrative is lazy. See what they look like at or close to full strength. If it still looks bad, well then we already know. But if not? #Jets #JetsTwitter #JetUp

The officiating has been the worst it’s EVER been by a wide margin and Roger has the audacity to fine coaches 250K for being upset about it
#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel, #Jets HC Aaron Glenn and #Eagles HC Nick Sirianni have each been fined $250,000 for conduct toward officials, per @AlbertBreer. The fines are on hold and could be rescinded if they have better behavior.

I've been making this same point. They are taking turns making mistakes - coaches AND players. There's no easy answer, except this - one way or another, it will work itself out. #Jets
Upon rewatching, I think what is frustrating to most about the #Jets offense so far is there isn't one clean answer on whose fault it is or a simple fix. They aren't that far away but they alternate between decent calls that aren't executed properly (Geno misses an open WR, Allen doesn't break a tackle in short yardage, etc) and poorly timed calls and/or play design. These are the ups and downs of being generally below average at QB/OC but having talented pieces sprinkled throughout the O. The good news is reinforcements are coming, Breece will help in passing game, Parham will have a positive trickle down effect on OL, Allen is playing the best football of his career, Cooper has looked great so far, Taylor has been solid since returning, outside of GB Membou has been good/consistent and AD will open things up for everyone...not a lost cause unit at all and have two games upcoming at home against defenses you *should* be able to generate points on at a higher clip than NE/CLE/CHI.

I agree with Joe B 100% on this. Did you know that with how flag happy the league has been, OPI is 1.8% of all the fouls called. You have about the same chance of having twins as you have of getting called for OPI. @NFLOfficiating you have some splaining to do. #Jets
Joe Benigno RIPPED the refs in Sunday's Jets loss, and it had him questioning everything😳

Omar Cooper Jr. had an outstanding (full) debut. Separated consistently vs. man coverage. Finished w/ 6 catches for 103 yards & TD with another TD called back
