I've decided to pause the free jersey giveaway, and I want to be honest about why. I’m really disappointed I asked our community, including some of the larger content creators, to simply share a GoFundMe for a child in our community who is fighting brain cancer. A kid that didn’t ask for this and him and family are going through hell to pay for all the medicals. I wasn't asking anyone to donate, just to retweet so his family's story could reach more people. Only a handful of people did. I know everyone is busy, and I know a retweet can feel small. But for a family going through something this painful, reach can mean everything. And it hurt to see how differently people respond when I post giveaways. This could be any of our kids. I'm not angry, just disappointed , and I'm hoping we can do better for each other.
