felt the same a few years back I think remote workers should (if they can afford it) go to a coworking space gets you out of the house and talking with people it's just better
i've been advocating for remote work for years, and i'll keep defending people's right to choose where they live for reasons that have nothing to do with their job. but i'm currently completely burnt out, and having my office at home has made resting and recovering much harder than i expected. a friend (who will recognize himself) suggested moving my desk somewhere else in my apartment. we did, and it helped a little. but it hasn't solved the real issue. i need to acknowledge something: when home becomes your workplace, boundaries can get dangerously blurred. mine have blurred so much over the past few months that, even though i'm currently on leave, i feel anxious about leaving my apartment even tho i was advised to try and get fresh air. i'm sharing this because i've spent years talking about the positive sides of remote work. it's only fair to be also transparent about the negative sides. i still believe in remote work. i just now realize how difficult it can be to reclaim your home as a place of rest when work has taken over so much of it.

made my own : investing in water the-water-investing-report.f…
this is clearly slop-coded but… it is absolutely wild we live in a world where I can send off one paragraph of dictated text before going to a meeting, and come out of that meeting thirty minutes later to this. the-choke-point-report.natha…

Every new model release it's the same script and I'm sick of it Release day: "This is AGI", "Claude/GPT can what???" Day 1: "burned my quota in just 5 minutes wtf" Day 2: "They nerfed it" just stop posting this shit, it's boring and useless

i feel the exact same thing "damn there's a bug" -> actually if I fix it I'll probably get more conversions, LTV, better churn, etc.
every time I find broken stuff in my products, I think it's AMAZING news it means I have reached the current level with those issues, so it can only be better if I fix them

this is why looking at whatever model is "trending" on X has no value whatsoever try models out for yourself see if they're a good fit

thing is jev isn't an ai detector other thing is : most real ai detectors running on advanced models will barely work reliably for long form text, let alone short form ask GPT-6 Astra "extra high max ultra whatever" if something is ai or not and it won't have a clue
This is what I tried to understand, too. Because you can get a JSON response from all the big classification models, it's an easy task. Jev is 100x faster / cheaper. But nobody is talking about the quality. I don't write a single line of AI in my tweets, yet all those Jev classifiers tagged them as AI. We need someone to compare smart models' (Fable / Astra) classification with Jev. I am sure Jev is great for dumb classification, but maybe even a simple machine learning model can be good.

just posted this to share a part of how I think about acquisitions and I'm actually having conversations with founders who want to sell their saas nice surprise
I'm always on the lookout for small SaaS businesses to acquire My exact criteria are: - 1K-5K MRR - Ugly product - no new blog post - some kind of proprietary data that would be hard to gather elsewhere

People replying super seriously to this makes me laugh
One of these days the frontier labs will casually add social media scheduling to their agent capabilities and the entire indiehacker economy will collapse.

I'd much rather keep being a disorganized idiot than have some ai assistant force me into becoming organized

ok so the speed is something else entirely, my god the categorization isn't great if it's something you'd expect to be using an custom trained open model for it's more than decent however for truly logical, fact-based tasks
got access to Jev/TypeSafe yaaay

it's rare to read that kind of take on twitter makes me very happy
Replying to @PeterMcCormack
No I paid for it, and so did my wife, and everyone else, it's called tax. We actually are proud paying tax and social benefits, it means you have done good. I feel sad for you that you don't understand or have even the slightest interest to know why or how it works. your loss.

i wonder if google automatically parses the "get" prefix in domains and ranks them for their actual brand name ex: getrewardful.com → ranks for "rewardful" should we just buy "get" domains ?
