Joining MPR and @CathyWurzer at 8:20 this morning. Minnesota and Davos have dominated the political headlines, but I wonder if these little beauties may also be a topic
Wow, a guy mentions Charles Weed in a tweet, and look what shows up! startribune.com/south-minnea…
Hi, Xworld. I missed you. Currently at the Alexandria MN @culvers with 13 other cars that have drivers who have paid and are waiting for their orders. Another 16 people inside with the same problem. To use my friend Charles Weed’s line, it’s #agonizinglyslowfood
Nothing makes a day go by quicker than responding to messages from people I know who received a fake DropBox email from me. I’m sure it is improving their days also. Do hackers receive bonuses from their bosses for particularly annoying acts of treachery?

In 1978, when the MN House was last 67-67, members could look across the partisan aisle and see others who shared geographies, social ideologies and economic philosophies with them. Today, that is more rare. How will the breakthroughs occur? #mnpolitics

Just getting started with @toddrapp @TomCrann @Stowydad on @MPRnews talking all things election 2024! Tune in to mprnews.org
Just a little over 10 hours left for voting in Minnesota today. Afterwards, join @ChasAnderson @TomCrann @Stowydad and me on @MPRnews for live analysis of the vote totals as they are being reported. The boss says we should expect to be on duty ‘til at least 2 AM.
Just 24 hours until … @ChasAnderson and I report for duty with @TomCrann @Stowydad and the great team at @MPRpolitics for Election Night coverage. A few predictions, lots of analysis, probably too much coffee.
Many thanks to @MNUtilityInvest for inviting me to share thoughts about #politics24 at its Annual Meeting. As always, the questions were the most fun: AI, national popular vote and the breadth of election fraud were high on the list of topics of interest to the members.
Thanks @mn_plans! It was great to join you yesterday to talk about #election2024 and what to expect in the next 80 or so days in #mnpol
Congrats to @WSBEngineering, Bret Weiss, Jon Chiglo and Ben Maurer for this recognition. Great Job!

Getting the band back together tonight! I will join @TomCrann @Stowydad and @ChasAnderson on @mpr after the polls close to talk about primary night and what the results might tell us about the November election.
On the DFL side, a robust primary for the Hornstein seat in Mpls., as well as a primary in Winona that has already seen nearly $100K in spending. The winner will need that much for the general election in this Top 5 swing district.
@ChasAnderson and I will rejoin MPR’s coverage later on this hour. Meanwhile, back to my refresh button.
So … with the end of the S-Court’s term, agencies now have more limited authority to take action that Congress could/should have taken, and Presidents have limited accountability (other than impeachment) for official actions that have not been expressly prohibited by law.
Doesn’t that beg the following question: what happens when a President repeatedly and officially directs agency heads to take actions that go beyond the scope of their authority, but are not prohibited by law?
