Preliminary evidence suggests GLP-1 drugs may reduce cravings for addictive substances, but stronger evidence is needed to support broader access.
We @Arnold_Ventures are proud to fund the most rigorous study ever of effect of GLP-1s on alcohol/opioid use and downstream impacts.

Why should everyday Americans care about permitting reform? Because, as Arnold Ventures Co-Chair Laura Arnold points out, it drives every component of affordability in this country—from the electric bill to the grocery aisle. Watch here: youtu.be/FuJ5PnnIlbk?t=2153

New: ProPublica’s Jake Pearson lost $10,000 mimicking the betting patterns of a problem gambler on DraftKings to test the company’s “responsible gaming” safeguards. One week in, he was invited to become a VIP — and faced little pushback as he spiraled. propub.li/4dGHrwr

What do I say about my beloved friend Jason Fossum? 💔
Jason recruited me to run for the Senate over breakfast at a Perkins in 2010. He became my mentor, political guru & dear friend.
I’ll forever be grateful we passed a $1.5M appropriation for the Jason Fossum Legislative Engagement Center at his beloved Winona State. He was speechless.
Jason was political right up to the end—making his way to heaven on the exact day early voting began. He knew there was work to do. ❤️
Thank you for believing in me, buddy. I’ll keep door-knocking, and you keep doing your work from up there. 🇺🇸

"The make-or-break moment" for permitting reform may be here.
In a new @axios interview, @johnarnold discusses the narrow window for congressional action, the need for a technology-neutral approach, and why permitting reform remains essential to building critical energy infrastructure. 🔗🔒 bit.ly/4isI0gJ

Of all the issues @Arnold_Ventures works on, increasing the supply of housing is in the most demand. It's also the area where we see the most bipartisan collaboration, both in states and Congress.

One year ago today, an unthinkable act of violence took place at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis.
We want to amplify Annunciation’s call to honor and remember those impacted by performing an act of kindness today. No act is too small – consider helping a neighbor, donating school supplies, volunteering at a local food shelf, or take a moment to tell a first responder ‘thank you.’
If you would like to support the Annunciation community, donations can be made here: ccf-mn.org/annunciation-hope…

We broke the record!
More than 1.1 million Minnesotans cast ballots in the statewide primary election - about 25% of eligible voters. This is the first time more than one million votes have been cast in a primary. (The previous high was in 2018 with 925,554 ballots cast.)
The media and others should ignore this nonsense from Lindell.
Lindell alleges voting irregularities, refuses to concede
