Mayokun Ajibade on what scares him: “We will do ourselves a disservice by attempting to roll back these reforms.” Some economic reforms should become national consensus, beyond APC, PDP or whoever is in power. Nigeria cannot afford to return to the old distortions.

The biggest lie about agentic payments is that it will revolutionize consumer behavior — eg. agents will be buying and selling pizzas, processing card payments on your behalf, etc. all-day-erryday. The data shows no evidence of this, and even the casual observer intuits that this is ridiculous (xitter.cf/infinitefun_/status/20…). ...but, why? Well, frankly, there are many. A very simple one: (1) US is one of the richest countries in the world (and, specifically, #1-2 globally for mean/median disposable income per capita; and, while the stats are noisier, minimally top quintile for mean discretionary [eg. net post house, food, etc.] household balances); (2) Despite that, the average family has super roughly ~10-20K in discretionary spend per year; (3) The average American is making ~10-12 impulse purchases per month; So when global GDP per capita is ~$25K (eg. ~1/3rd of the US), even after adjusting for purchasing parity... ...why on earth would the average human need an AI agent to be running 24/7 to buy <10 things for them per month with money they likely can't afford to spend? 🤔
yeah, no. the average consumer has a near zero need for offloading cognitive work. what they need is their netflix and their doordash — your job as a consumer is literally to chill tf out and stay happy and motivated if you dont intuit this as obvious you're most likely neck-deep in a muck of motivated reasoning as a consumer founder / VC okay you can use agents to search the web and synthesize findings on what to buy. okay you have cognitive chores like filing tax returns and sifting thru email. sounds like great features to bake into google and gmail! on the other hand, your job as a knowledge worker is to convert your cognition into something of economic value — and then because of competitive market dynamics, you'll also need all the cognitive amplification that's available on the market. the biggest problems need the most cognition. the consumer takes care of problems scoped to themselves. the knowledge workers together take care problems concerning society. when we look back, we'll remember how AI agents helped us cure cancer, not how your agent helped you order pizza over imessage.

I wish there was a way we could track the second order effects of the X algorithm change in exactly a year from now. I’d like to see what its led to in different areas of life. we used to say geography is destiny, with what I see now, I’m pretty sure algorithm is destiny.

Study market dynamics. What makes marketplaces successful? What are the influencing GTM factors? How did others acquire their first few customers? Who are the suppliers? Same can be studied for healthcare, HVAC, fintech, or social networks and network effects. Understanding market dynamics helps you understand your GTM, your USP, and your path to PMF.

A dead person will get tired of sleeping… Even in total rest, peace or nothingness, the human mind craves motion, purpose, experience. We’re wired to do, not just to be. That’s why “eternal rest” sounds nice for 5 minutes, then terrifying.

What happens when Africa's transportation economy becomes investable onchain? Our co-founder, Oluwole Kayode, opened the evening by unpacking why transportation and supply chain assets could become one of the next major real-world asset classes. That conversation naturally led into our first panel: State of RWA in Africa. Builders, investors and ecosystem leaders shared where the continent is today, what's working, what still needs to be solved, and why Africa has a unique opportunity to lead in real-world asset tokenization. This was just the beginning. More moments from RWA Night coming soon.

Globally, the tokenization market has reached $31 billion in 2026 and still growing with forecasts predicting $30 trillion by 2034. Even if Africa only contributes 1%, it has the potential to transform different markets and asset class in the region. This session seems to demystify what currently holds for RWAs in Africa and how to accelerate its adoption Be there 🏌️
We’re bringing together founders, investors, and ecosystem builders to explore the current state of RWA tokenization across Africa, the opportunities ahead, and what it will take to build the infrastructure that connects African assets to global capital. If you’re building in Web3, finance, infrastructure, logistics, or real-world assets, this conversation is for you. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Lagos.

Testosterone is made from cholesterol. Oestrogen is made from cholesterol. Cortisol is made from cholesterol. Vitamin D is made from cholesterol. Bile acids that digest fat are made from cholesterol. Progesterone, which sustains pregnancy, is made from cholesterol. Every cell membrane in your body contains cholesterol. Every nerve is insulated by myelin, which is largely cholesterol. Every memory you form requires cholesterol to build the synapse that holds it. Your brain is 60% fat, mostly cholesterol. Breast milk is rich in cholesterol because infant brains cannot develop without it. Nature, given the job of designing the perfect first food, put cholesterol in it. When you eat less of it, the liver makes more. Because the body knows it cannot function without it. We declared war on cholesterol in 1977. Testosterone in men has dropped 25%. Vitamin D deficiency is now endemic. One in three adults over fifty is on a statin lowering the cholesterol the body is desperately trying to maintain. Depression rates have tripled. Infertility rates have doubled. The war is going well.

Yesterday, the team was on the ground at the West African Automotive Show 2026. We had the opportunity to connect with teams from Foton, Tata, Rox (Fouani Group), and The Engine House, engaging in meaningful discussions that are helping shape the road ahead. This is us working towards realizing our vision for Fleets, one conversation at a time. #WAAS2026
