We’ve never seen anything like this before. A man was conscripted into jury duty by the government. He performed his civic duty and followed his conscience, refusing to acquit a woman who confessed to systematically executing her three children. The defense attorney immediately launched a public smear campaign against the juror. Soon several other jurors joined the campaign. Then the media. Even the defense attorney’s wife has joined. Now they’re doxxing the man, digging into his past, contacting his family, showing up at his house. All of this both to punish him for refusing to go with their program, and to pollute any future jury pool by making it clear that anyone who votes to convict Clancy will have their life destroyed. It’s truly one of the most outrageously evil things we’ve ever seen from the Left, and that’s saying something. A direct assault on the integrity of our justice system. They are burning down every boundary and standard in their path. And doing it all for the sake of a child murdering psychopath. Unfathomable.
Using @bot to clean out my email is a game changer. It’s unsubscribing from junk and deleting it, marking old but necessary emails as read, and summarizing the rest. My red bubbles haven’t been this low in a long time.

We had a grad/send-off party for our youngest (headed to @Westmont). 33 people got baptized Saturday. Then Isaiah led worship at church one more time before college & led a song he wrote.

I was scrolling through my photos and came across this one of me and @briandoerksen at the songwriters workshop on March 8, 2024. He was the most genuine, down to earth, kind, gentle, honest, and humble man I’ve ever met. It was a little nerve racking to share one of my then unfinished songs but a blessing to receive his feedback. He also made some of the best chai I’ve ever had. Those couple hours were the only time I ever spent with him, but it was almost as if we were old friends. That’s one of the mysteries of God I think… the way we are united in Him means none of us are strangers to one another. What joy he must be experiencing, face to face with our Lord for eternity.
Refiner’s Fire may be one of the most impactful worship songs I’ve sung, and it didn’t even hit me until recently. “My heart’s one desire is to be holy, set apart for You Lord. I choose to be holy…” God refines us and sacrifices us and consecrates us. He makes us holy, but we also have a responsibility to choose holiness.
