Our latest publication led by the magnificent @Jocelyn_L_Tan using data from the RAINE study, with @CarrieAnne_Ng, @DavidScottPhD, @marc_p_sim, @DrNicolasHart, @tjrantal, and @DrChiversPaola, et al. A truly collaborative peice linking low motor competence to poor bone health.
A new finding in #JBMR of lower peak bone mass for individuals with LMC may reflect a higher risk of osteoporosis, especially for males, however, further research is required @DrNicolasHart @DavidScottPhD @DrChiversPaola ow.ly/ejqW50MVQQu

Great editorial in @BMJOpenSEM lead by @sportmednews on whether #ChatGPT can generate passable academic outputs. dx.doi.org/10.1136/bmjsem-20… What do you think? My take = reads like a high-school essay but can surely be prompted to be more scientific. #AcademicTwitter

In a new study we investigated the accuracy of two free markerless motion capture methods for assessing running technique: OpenPose & a custom-trained @DeepLabCut model Are these tools accurate enough for kinematic running analyses? More details in thread onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…

This was a massive study (>60000 participants) to confirm that people with chronic #backpain are less physically active. Big question is the chicken-egg of physical activity and back pain, but is still a nice study. doi.org/10.1016/j.jshs.2019.…
