When we first started driving EVs the UKs grid intensity was 441g CO2/kWh, meaning our EV was emitting 110g CO2/mile or 68g CO2/KM Grid intensity has lowered drastically since then (2023 162gCO2/kWh) so last year driving an EV meant you'd have averaged approximately 40.5g CO2/mile or 25g CO2/KM. That's anywhere between 4 & 10 times cleaner than an ICE car and......... that's before we add crude oil extraction, fractional distillation and transportation emsisions to the ICE car's figures. Happy clean air 🙏🏼 carbonbrief.org/analysis-uk-…. – at East Midlands, England

It’s not often new exciting tech comes along, but this is one of those moments.
here is GPT-4, our most capable and aligned model yet. it is available today in our API (with a waitlist) and in ChatGPT+. openai.com/research/gpt-4 it is still flawed, still limited, and it still seems more impressive on first use than it does after you spend more time with it.

X2 what you see on a US menu to estimate your bill. The whole tax and tip system in the US is nuts.

Hey Paul... Energy prices in EU are all over the place as each government is helping customers in different ways. I don't think UK customers are paying 5x anywhere else though - but I have seen maps showing UK elec wholesale 5x elsewhere. However -

Not having clear upfront pricing was one of the reasons I rarely used AirBnB as it was impossible to properly sort options. Glad to see this change!
Today we are launching upfront pricing
Niche joke. But I like it.

Last four Tory PMs: Cameron (PPE, Oxford), May (Geography, Oxford), Johnson (PPE, Oxford), Truss (PPE, Oxford). Truss beat Sunak (PPE, Oxford) in the leadership contest and has appointed Hunt (PPE, Oxford) as Chancellor. Best case study ever for the importance of diversity.

Disappointed with @DriveOnto who until now have been v. good. They've failed to service the car, and now citing it's perfectly safe to drive a car that hasn't had a safety check or service. Worth reading the RAC's advice here @DriveOnto: rac.co.uk/drive/advice/know-…
