what's the meta these days for employer of records? is @deel where it's at? or any better (ideally cheapter) options?

got a dilemma - I know I should ‘switch off’ from work on weekends… so I was thinking about playing some Skyrim on my steam deck… but work stuff is more fun than video gaming… what do I do?

i was today years old when i learned that liberal arts are called that because they’re what a free man should’ve learned about (‘liber’ = Latin for ‘free’) as opposed to stuff that slaves learned

8+ years on the creator side of brand deals (and a couple on the brand side) taught me that creator marketing at scale can be a nightmare. So we built CreatorGrid to take the friction out of doing creator marketing at scale, with zero upfront cost for brands (whilst also providing brand deals with 0% commission for creators). We've been running campaigns with brands like Notion, Wispr Flow, Superhuman amongst others and we've just opened up a few more spots for new brands (apply here if you're interested: tally.so/r/xXe4ay) Anyway, here's a quick video explaining more 👇

we’re looking to partner with an amazing Social Media Lead for Superfocus - our productivity app, and one of the most exciting things we’re building. you’d be working directly with me to own how Superfocus shows up across socials, and to help build a brand that can inspire millions of people to actually achieve their goals while enjoying the journey along the way :) if you're interested, fill out this form: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…

hot take: part of why everyone’s talking about Astra is because it’s a cool name that evokes ‘next level’ vibes (like mythos)

love seeing the comments on our facebook ads 🙃

remarkably useful tip for working with AI (thanks @anshuc x @lennysan): "use a script to generate 10 random strings, and then use those random strings as inspiration to generate..."

hey gang - we're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our Lifestyle Business Academy team. Our mission with LBA is to build the world’s best online business school, as an alternative to traditional MBA programs. We’re looking for someone who’s aligned with the mission and genuinely cares about the results that students get from the education that we provide. If you're interested, you can get more information and apply here: aliabdaal.com/jobs/sales-man… (And if you know anyone who should see this, please do share it with them - thanks 🙏)

We’re moving to a new office! Doing a bare shell fit out for the first time - we’ve been in coworking spaces forever but now time to go big. Any tips for office renovation / furniture anyone?

Just wanted to quickly flag that we're still accepting Founding Members for Superfocus - the tool we've been building to give you clarity, focus & accountability. I've been searching for some sort of productivity thing that combines goals, focus, calendars, accountability into one place for ages so we've essentially decided to build something that does all of that in one tool. And with just over 4 months until the end of the year, it's worth taking a look if you want to use that time effectively to make progress on the goals that might've slipped away. As I said, still accepting Founding Members for a limited while longer so if you're interested, you can sign up here 👉 go.sparkle.so/superfocus_x

What’s the best way to read a markdown file within terminal on a VPS? I normally open them up via cursor SSHd into the VPS lol… is there a more streamlined way to do this? Should I learn the keyboard shortcuts for vim for example?

WE'RE HIRING - LOOKING FOR COFOUNDERS & A FOUNDER’S ASSOCIATE 🚀 Over the last few months we’ve been building an AI-native platform to better connect creators and brands. We’ve been working closely with Notion, Superhuman, Wispr Flow, Viktor and others (in closed beta), brought-on a world-class technical team, and are close to launching our agent-powered workflow. We’re bullish that this could be a category-defining venture, and want to continue building a world-class team to match that ambition. Who we’d love to work with: 👉 A Cofounder to lead product/operations: go.sparkle.so/cofounder-prod… 👉 A Cofounder to lead growth: go.sparkle.so/cofounder-grow… 👉 A Founder’s Associate: go.sparkle.so/founder-associ… If joining a rocket ship with high autonomy, high trust, and high upside is your idea of fun, please go ahead and let us know by filling those forms. Please note that we review applications on a rolling basis: we’re in active conversations with a number of candidates, and expecting to fill each position very soon. (And please send this post to someone you know who may be a great fit!)

You feel a sense that how you're spending your time isn't really leading you to the goals/life that you actually want... which of these words best describes what you're missing?
