The Irish government will increase public debt to record levels over four years in an effort to meet the twin objectives of saving and investing in infrastructure, the Business Post can reveal.

I’m sure the Irish media would have similiar thoughts to Mélenchon - complete denial of reality.

Another deportation flight left Dublin today and has now landed safely in Bucharest. There were 24 Romanian nationals on board, all of whom had been convicted of crimes in Ireland.
As EU citizens, they were removed under the Free Movement Directive.

Most of the violence is about hatred of the West (other than the welfare state) - France has a Trojan horse that will only get worse. Putin & the like are laughing - divide & conquer tactics working well in the EU…

Well said - Europe would be in a lot better place with this attitude. An uphill task in Brussels no doubt - the place seems to have been ideologically captured by open-border loons. Best of luck.

To usłyszeli ode mnie liderzy Europy w Brukseli.

Nobody made them do the degrees, & there does seem to be an element of an international student scam with some courses. They should not feel entitled to stay in Ireland, if they are not able to get a job.

"Is it just a standard memo that goes around from the government to the MSM as they are told what to print?"
Almost literally, yes (though the government in question here is the French government)
Look at the bottom of the two reports at RTE and The Journal. They're both credited to AFP, which is Agence France Presse which is funded and controlled by the French government.

It’s a result of the West indulging far-left politics.
Also, flooding Europe with people who don’t seem to like Europe that much (other than its welfare state) mightn’t be such a good idea…

When you burn down a building that houses a democratic entity you are attacking democracy itself. This is extremists manipulating grievances to attack Democracy itself. The Democratic State either defends itself or it’s lost.

Matt and Leo somehow think because new migrants are largely in private rented accommodation and living in wealthy areas that that somehow means it's a net benefit for society
How exactly does it benefit the country to have a greater share of higher earners demanding private rental accommodation, thus raising prices, when we're facing growing rental inflation ?
As @SineadOS1 has said, this also creates a clash with the existing middle class: "The middle class is about to experience what the working class has experienced for years: brutal competition for their livelihood in a system designed by employers, enthusiastically endorsed by the Irish state, and built without any institutional framework to manage the consequences."
