“It pains us to see students drop out of their program,” said our Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Aaron Mushegyenzi, of students who hit tuition trouble in their second, third or fourth year.
Today, our Annual UCU Tuition Run rallied over UGX 50 million to keep them in class.

The UCU Guild Tuition Run was more than just a run!
Today was filled with fun, excitement, and unforgettable moments. From aerobics and the run itself to exciting games, plenty of refreshments, and memorable photo moments, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The day also celebrated excellence, with the overall winners walking away with prizes.
Beyond the fun, we came together for a greater cause, "Supporting students facing tuition challenges, keeping them in class, and building brighter futures".

Today, the much-anticipated UCU Guild Tuition Run took place, raising over UGX 50 million to support students facing tuition-related challenges.
The Guest of Honour, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, was represented by her ADC, Charles Babwetera, who delivered her message and confirmed her UGX 20 million contribution towards the cause.
Other contributions came from the Vice Chancellor’s Office, the DVCFA’s Office, the Dean of Students’ Office, and other partners, demonstrating a collective commitment to keeping students in class and building futures.
