Finished off @theorah's beautifully drawn and cringingly relatable (as a fellow asexual) How to Be Ace. A lovely, personal, and educational memoir told with focus and some really comforting artwork (in the colouring and usage of watercolours).

Amazing news! The Ribbon Skirt just received a wonderful starred review from Publishers Weekly, and I couldn't be more thrilled! "Mukwa clearly and concisely communicates the nature of being two-spirited in this dazzling graphic novel debut."

This week I got to take a look at the teaser for @Bajingoo and Suzie-Guru's upcoming webcomic, Ratterock! PG-13 and adult themes ahead. Teaser pages are spicy, so be forewarned! This is a really promising furry comic, so if I've got your attention, read on...

So I was given an ARC of @niki_smith and Jules Bakes' upcoming book, Sea Legs! This graphic novel has so much heart and would be a great read for any kid who's ever struggled with loneliness and difficult friendships. Review continues below...⛵️
Ive been taking a break from X outside of the odd RT, but thought Id share a little update on my personal work :3
Been feverishly drawing my French Revolution comic- Ive had a lot of praise from certified historians, its wonderful!
Here's my fave page- of Camille's famous speech.
I'm much less stressed now that Im not updating everywhere! If you wanna keep up with my personal comics. you can via Tapas, Instagram or Twitter :3
Heres a Frev illustration I did recently too! And a design for an owl badge 🦉 Although Ive mostly been drawing comics hehe 😄
never thought Id see the day that a book I worked on reached a Waterstones (especially since they rarely stock graphic novels...)
How wonderful!! 😭😭
Lovely to see my book in Cork Waterstones today 💗
Waterstones was my favourite shop to browse in as a child, and it makes me so happy to think of #Autistic kids browsing and discovering my book here.

With its emphasis on inclusivity and positivity #BeingAutistic @msniamhgarvey illust. @theorah @JKPBooks @JKPAutism is strongly recommended in today’s #RedReadingHub’s review wp.me/p11DI5-cD1
Review time! I was very fortunate to be given an ARC of The Ribbon Skirt, by Cameron Mukwa 💖 And it was so lovely 🥺
I loved the esp the artwork/layouts for the double page spreads and dream sequences (the final version is in colour)! It was nice reading a trans story told from the perspective of someone from the Anishinaabe tradition/an indigenous person 💜
There was some great info at the end of the book delving into this more, which was fun for someone like me who knows pm nothing about any indigenous cultures!
The Ribbon Skirt is out in November, heres pre order link 😄
