An honour to meet 99 yr old #WW2 veteran Inayet Ali. Was a sepoy with Engineers & Parachute regiment - British Indian Army. Served with Pakistan Army till 1957, moving to Nottingham in 1960. The @PoppyLegion Remembrance team have been in contact with him #RememberTogether

Just met a lady wearing a 20 year @PoppyLegion merit badge. We have never met, but we got chatting away like we were old friends. She was very interested in the Tonbridge Poppy Appeal, how much we raised and all the past events we have done. The RBL is a family. A great family.
