Well I was wrong about that because the judges tried their best. 😆

Rolly doesn’t have that much influence to sway judges into a questionable decision imo

I figured that would be the case.
The bid will probably come in low and Keyshawn will say he’s worth more and turn down the title fight.

Turned out to be a bad second half for Canelo. Was left frustrated in the end.
Ring rust is what I would be more worried about for Crawford than the weight. I think Canelo needs to start fast because if he lets Bud keep it close early and get comfortable then it could potentially be a bad second half for him. Canelo usually slows down over 12.

Boxing fans are such cowards these days. If you don’t agree with them then they cut you off. 😆 Just cowards

Super Sky Point to the great George Foreman. This one hurts. A kid who arrived on the national scene when he won gold in Mexico City in 1968 and waved American flags. Who became the most feared boxer of his era after destroying Joe Frazier and Ken Norton in a combined four rounds. An invincible force who was outthought and outboxed by an allegedly washed up Muhammad Ali in Zaire in 1974 and who retired three years later, exhausted after another upset loss and changed by the subsequent religious experience that prompted him to retire in his prime. Big George left public life and went home to Texas for a decade before returning to boxing to raise money for his church. He was mocked for being fat and written off as a joke as he knocked over a slew of tomato cans. But he persevered to regain that heavyweight title he lost in that African night just over 20 years later at age 45 with a right hand that rendered an undefeated champion unconscious. “It happened! It happened!” shouted Jim Lampley as Michael Moorer laid on his back in a fog after meeting the same right hand that had separated so many other men from their senses. He learned how to smile during his second act. Now bald and cherubic, the same folks who once feared him and teased him suddenly loved him. He became a genial teddy bear who made millions hawking that damn grill. Goodbye to Big George, a man who achieved a dream he believed in for two decades - the dream only he thought was possible. A man whose goodness redeemed him from the darkness that prevented him from enjoying his initial fame, fortune, and acclaim. He won so much more in his middle age than that heavyweight crown he prized so much. I never met George Foreman but I loved him. Rest in peace, champ.

We don’t get fights like this much anymore. Even the big fights don’t seem big compared to a fight like this.
22 years ago, Oscar De La Hoya defeated Fernando Vargas by TKO in round 11 of 12 to unify the WBC & WBA junior middleweight titles, retain the lineal & win the vacant Ring junior middleweight titles.

When life tries to knock me down and it thinks it’s done me in I always remember what Joe Goosen told Diego Corrales. “You gotta fucking get inside on him now” and then I come back and take control. 😆
nobody will remember: - your salary - how “busy you were” - how many hours you worked people will remember:

THE greatest fight of all time. There’s others that are close but this had every single thing you can imagine a great fight having.
José Luis Castillo vs Diego Corrales I. You mostly always see just the 10th round posted but not this time. Every round is a toe-to-toe inside battle. A war of attrition. A gruelling contest. Corrales chose to fight Castillo’s fight & it very nearly backfired.. until it didn’t.

Exactly what I said when I heard it drop!
Did Tim walkout to DMX? I like Fundora. But he might be in some trouble 😭

Scan this man’s brain for CTE now. Give him his mental evaluation.
😱“In their prime I could knockout Floyd Mayweather!”- Ryan Garcia If that fantasy fight ever took place who would win? #boxing

I still watch that fight to this day knowing everything that’s gonna happen and I still enjoy every min of it. I was angry that night because I had money on a Castillo stoppage but then it all started to sink in that I just witnessed the greatest fight of all time.

#1 fighter in the world and fighter of the year. There should be no doubt about this.
And that's it, its over, Inoue finally breaks down Tapales with a series of hard overhand fights. It was like a wrecking ball finally crumbling a building, which finally fell in the rd 10 #boxing #InouevsTapales

Taking a 3-13 team to a 8-7 record so far in his first year. How’s that holding back?

Corrales/Castillo remains the greatest fight I have ever seen. Marquez/Vasquez series is one of the greatest of all time. That era of Showtime was filled with a lot of great matchups. We will probably never see something like that again.
Still the two best fights I saw on Showtime. I was lucky to be on press row for both . This was during their "Great Fights, No Rights'' era of Jay Larkin and then Ken Hershman... #boxing

Another post season exit for the Dodgers coming up. 😆
All of baseball should blame the Astros for this offseason. Dodgers were cheated out of 2017 and are coming for blood!!!

Everything about it. In 1998 DMX instantly became my favorite rapper along with Scarface with this album and flesh of my flesh. You can’t tell he was really a real one.
What makes this album by DMX a classic❓

WBC always coming up with rules they rarely enforce and then amending them when one of their guys get busted.
WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman, announcing just now that any top 15 ranked fighters will have to do monthly weight checks via an app (BoxMed) starting in 2024. There will be a 6 month grace period for ranked contenders and champions alike to register. #boxing @WBCBoxing
