The escalating fuel prices are an immediate cost of living crisis that warrants Parliamentary scrutiny.
We will continue pushing for a review in the fuel pricing structure especially the taxes & levies imposed on the price of fuel, and development of domestic oil & gas resources to shield against international supply shocks.

IT’S OFFICIAL. THE MARCH IS ON. ✊🏾🇿🇦
On Friday 20 November 2026, ordinary South Africans are marching peacefully to the South African Reserve Bank.
More than ten years ago, banks were accused of rigging the rand-dollar exchange rate. The case still hasn’t been heard on its merits. The value of the rand affects what we pay for fuel, food, transport and loans. We’re marching for transparency, fairness and accountability.

We demanded action against fraudulent spaza shop ownership and fronting. The Minister's response? More consultations, workshops and an online platform still under development!
Apparently, criminals need awareness campaigns while South Africans must patiently wait for enforcement.
Our township economy needs protection, not another government talk shop!

“We are replacing Eskom”
That is Ekurhuleni Mayor shamelessly stating that out of 2500 MW electricity demand, they will be procuring 2400 MW from the private sectors.
The process to collapse Eskom is criminal. There is should be no state institution or any sphere of government that is procuring electricity from the private sector when Eskom has capacity.
A few weeks ago, Sputla told us Eskom has excess capacity, which is becoming wasteful, yet they approve for Ekurhuleni to go to private sector.
We are led by foolish people.
