Controversial advice from Pascal Becker @thelibrarycode : never DELETE items from your repository, only use the withdraw state!! If you delete content from your repository, your repository FORGETS it ever existed. But the files still stay in the assetstore #openRepos2024

@timdonohue joining us to brainstorm with Pascal-Nicholas Becker what we'd like to see in DSpace 9 #OpenRepos2024
Non of the features mentioned (except statistics) were included in plain DSpace 6. Are you maybe talking about DSpace-CRIS or about local customizations? Nevertheless, most of the suggestions are interesting and the community would appreciate code contributions.
What exactly are you missing? The community is asking for feedback to see if important functionality was forgotten to port and should be added to DSpace 8.
