💻 Over the last year, incarcerated students have built valuable web development and software engineering skills. Innovative programs like The Last Mile are essential to DOC’s efforts to advance rehabilitation and support successful reentry. We commend the graduates for their dedication.
The Healey-Driscoll Administration’s H1 FY26 budget proposes $10M, including $7 million for Pre- and Post-Release Services grant programs, to provide incarcerated individuals access to programming and in-demand job skill training. This investment reflects the administration's deep commitment to reducing recidivism and promoting public safety statewide.
