When a birthday wish starts sounding like a political appeal, you know something is wrong. A celebration should be about the celebrant, not a disguised campaign for political alignment.
KWANKWASO AT 70: IT IS TIME TO PLAY POLITICS OF COMMON SENSE. Dear Senator @KwankwasoRM , Happy 70th Birthday to you, a man whose political journey, particularly in Kano, has demonstrated that leadership can make a tangible difference in the lives of ordinary people. Your record in education, your pro-poor policies and your investment in the welfare of the less privileged have earned you a place in the political history of our country. These are not insignificant achievements, and they are precisely why I believe you still have a historic role to play in Nigeria’s future. At 70, you must rise above the distractions of the moment and begin to think seriously about the bigger picture. Nigeria is approaching another defining political season, and the pendulum of power will inevitably swing again. If the North is to prepare effectively for its next opportunity to lead this country, it must do so through strategic thinking, political maturity and the building of bridges across the country. Kwankwaso, you are a Northerner who can make a credible case for being trusted with the welfare of the people. Your record in Kano, particularly in education and policies directed at the poor, gives you a foundation upon which to build a much bigger national legacy. But you must not allow present political calculations to diminish that legacy. My candid advice to you is this: step into the grassroots political shoes of the late President @MBuhari , and recognise the strategic value of supporting President @officialABAT at this moment in our national journey. Buhari understood the political weight of the ordinary Nigerian, particularly the people of the North. His connection with the grassroots was a formidable political asset. You have your own record, your own constituency and your own strengths. The question is whether you will deploy those assets to build a sustainable national political future or expend them on an alliance that may not serve your long-term interests. And this brings me to your present political association with Peter Obi. With all due respect to him, I believe you bring considerably more political experience, deeper executive credentials and a more extensive record of practical governance to the table. Why, then, should a man of your political stature hitch his future to a political arrangement in which his own experience and accomplishments risk being overshadowed? You should be setting the direction, not surrendering your political judgment to another man’s ambition. Supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not require you to abandon your convictions or surrender your independence. It requires you to recognise the national interest, appreciate the importance of political stability and position yourself to contribute meaningfully to the next phase of Nigeria’s development. There is room for political competition, but there is also a time when wisdom demands cooperation. At 70, your concern should be the people you have served, the people you still hope to serve and the political foundations you will leave for the next generation. The North needs leaders who can think beyond immediate grievances, build national alliances and prepare for the future without sacrificing the interests of their people today. Kwankwaso, Kwankwaso! Leader sir, Egbon, it is time to reconsider the road you are travelling. Do not let the politics of the moment rob you of the opportunity to play a far greater role in the Nigeria that is emerging. It is time to play politics of common sense. Happy 70th Birthday Sir, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. May wisdom guide your next steps, may your experience serve the nation, and may your remaining years in public life bring greater progress to Kano, the North and Nigeria as a whole. Otunba Segun Showunmi The Alternative.

Biogas isn't the same thing as CNG or LPG, and people keep mixing them up. Biogas is raw gas, not compressed and not liquefied. That tube you're looking at is basically a blown up balloon. It holds very little energy for its size, and filling it takes a huge amount of waste. LPG packs many times that gas into liquid form, so a single kilogram holds what a mountain of biogas can't. A full biogas tube may not even match 0.5kg of LPG. Biogas works well for people who already have steady waste supply, like poultry and piggery farms. For the average household or business with no waste source, it doesn't scale. Good idea, wrong expectations.

The good news that neither Atiku nor Peter Obi wants to hear: The naira is expected to end the year at 1,290 per dollar from 1,328.92 per dollar, according to the average forecast of four analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. That would extend its 8% gain so far this year to almost 12%, marking its strongest annual advance since at least 2018 – Bloomberg bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Tinubu has to approve ‘free and fair’ election? This level of ‘state capture’ is on another level. These people are practically sounding like they are doing us a favor.

POLITICS is NOT A CAREER. Get a JOB!!!
I came to Osun to support my party's candidate, while you supported your uncle's party (Accord). INEC is a body that can't be influenced by me or anyone else. I have never influenced or rigged before and i don't plan to start now. Face your music while we face our politics.

It has never been ‘your’ politics. It’s sad to see that a supposed political gladiator benefiting immensely from the rotten system does not understand the ‘ubiquity of politics’. What matters in an election is the VOTE which you are unable to provide here. Why you go OSUN 💀?

Having Tinubu close to statements around ‘free and credible election’ is the major concern in this post.
If truly Gov. Ademola Adeleke and his elder brother visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR @officialABAT at the Villa seeking admission into the APC, and some Osun APC leaders opposed it, arguing that Adeleke had no electoral value, then an Adeleke victory today would be a serious lesson in political calculations. If he eventually wins, those who said he had no electoral value may need to take a back seat and allow a new generation of political strategists to lead the party. For me, however, the bigger issue is President Tinubu. If Adeleke wins in a free and credible election, it will reinforce my belief that Tinubu is willing to allow democracy to work, while INEC is showing that it can operate independently. Meanwhile let's wait for the official result from INEC #Ndewonu

I said this earlier: “First thing first, as a founder, apply to Google for Startups, AWS for Startups, or NVIDIA Inception. They offer access to significant infrastructure, credits, tools and other resources that can potentially support your startup for a year or longer. It’s surprising how many founders don’t know about this.” Let me show you exactly how to do it, But before then bookmark and share with your timeline so they benefit from it too.
First thing first, as a founder, apply to programs like Google for Startups, AWS for Startups, or NVIDIA Inception. They can give you access to significant amounts of free infrastructure, credits, tools, and other resources that can potentially support your startup for a year or even longer, depending on the program and your eligibility. It’s honestly surprising how many founders don’t know about these programs. If you want to know more about them or how to apply, ask me. I’ll explain the process.
