In a discussion of aquatic chemistry, I related engineering remediation solutions to chemical properties of the pollutant. For DDT in LA, the teams proposed many solutions that I was proud of. My fave was the PAC-MAN crane to mobilize DDT for photolysis.
Officially moving day for my lab to @USC_CEE . It's bittersweet as I have had wonderful memories with my students at the University of California, Riverside. I'm looking forward to a new chapter and contributing to the scholarship @USCViterbi
Waste management is a prime sustainability issue of our age that can lead to adverse societal, economic, and environmental effects. This is one of the prime purposes the sustainability lab at USC looks at circular engineering solutions. #theWasteNotLab
