You leave urgent care with new instructions. Weeks later, your doctor's chart still shows the old medication list. Nobody's fault. It just never made it over. You already carry enough. That's why we founded WellConnector: so your information follows you. #WhyWellConnector

We're grateful to be building something alongside so many people and organizations who care about the health and quality of life of everyone who lives in the place we call home. Keep following as we get ready to press "start" in the "Capital Region Healthcare Innovation Hub."

Behind the numbers, there is someone standing in a waiting room, trying to recall a parent's medications from memory. Rewriting the same medical history for the third specialist this year. Managing paperwork for someone who is not able to manage it themselves. #WhyWellConnector
Every time I walked into a new doctor's office, the clipboard came out. Same questions. Same history. Same frustration. And I thought โ in a world where I can deposit a check from my phone and board a plane with a QR code, why are we still doing this? That question became WellConnector.
We're building something simple (in theory) but long overdue: a secure, patient-controlled health profile that travels with you โ so you never have to fill out another intake form from scratch again. Your medications, allergies, diagnoses, and history โ ready to share with any provider, any time, with a single QR code.
We're not in the app store yet, but we're close โ and the momentum is real.
This is being built for you. For your parents. For your kids. For anyone who has ever sat in a waiting room and thought โ there has to be a better way.
There is. ๐

Today at the Tallahassee State College/ Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐๐ ๐๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐, we officially launched the ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ.
One place where entrepreneurs, employers, investors, and site selectors can connect with the resources, partners, and opportunities they need to grow right here in Florida's Capital Region.
As Steve Evans has mentioned: The Front Door to our business community and resources.
A lot of work went into this. It took a community of leaders who believe in what this region can become and who showed up, collaborated, and built something real together.
To everyone who has been part of this journey...thank you. This is yours as much as it is ours. And..it is less about the tech and more about working together as one community.

Yesterday @TaMarynWaters and @TDOnline wrote an article that stated the @TalChamber intends to be the quarterback for economic development in our region. We mean it.
We will lead, take positions, and partner across the public and private sectors to grow jobs, raise wages, and improve quality of life across the Capital Region. We will also put advanced technology to work, helping existing and new businesses navigate our economic and business ecosystem...while marketing our region's strengths and opportunities to the world.
Alongside that commitment, we released our ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, organized around three priorities:
โ Economic Development & Business Growth
โ Innovation, Education & Workforce
โ Housing & Infrastructure
These positions will guide our advocacy and our work in the year ahead. The Capital Region's next chapter will be defined by what we build together.

We're so proud of WellConnector cofounder @gonzalezloumiet, sworn in last week as board chair for @TalChamber. We believe in connecting w/ communities we serve & giving back through causes that help them thrive. Eddie embodies this value in spades as a leader in his community.
Replying to @TalChamber
@talchamber incoming Board Chairman, @Ruvos Partner Eddie Gonzalez Loumiet makes promise, stating, "You are about to see leadership unlike anything this region has seen before." Stressed more unity and said "It's about what we decide to build together."

After nearly 10 years in business, Iโm excited to share that Allison Aubuchon Communications is now Buzz with Purpose โ a name that reflects the work I love doing and the client missions behind it.
โBuzz with Purposeโ should sound familiar. Itโs been a guiding phrase and tagline in my work for years. While โbuzzโ in PR can sometimes feel noisy or hollow, what my clients and I create together is anything but. Our work is intentional and strategic โ amplifying purpose-driven missions with thoughtful storytelling, advocacy, and creativity.
The bee icon (refreshed) remains front and center in our brand. Bees are small but mighty, nimble, collaborative, and great communicators โ qualities I strive to bring to every partnership. Iโm thrilled to share that the updated brand was brought to life by talented Tallahassee graphic designer Eric Thomas of Understory, whose work honors the company's foundation while giving us fresh energy for the future.
While our DBA name and visual identity may be changing, our core services remain the same, including strategic planning, graphic design, messaging, media advocacy and coalition-building. The refreshed look is now live at buzzwithpurpose.com -- hope you'll check it out!
Grateful for your friendship and partnership, and excited for what weโll build together in the next chapter as Buzz with Purpose!
Sincerely,
Allison Aubuchon
