Like certain cars, some supplements from the past were just ahead of their time. Glycine being the next creatine was decades in the making.

Coke is not peaty: Coke’s main ingredient, phosphoric acid, is 100% bioavailable VS meat’s 30% bioavailable phosphorous. This means 1L of coke has the same phosphorous as 240g (9oz) of steak. Drink coca cola in moderation

Milk maxxers are in SHAMBLES 100g bones = 15 GRAMS CALCIUM That's the same as 14L/quarts of milk!! A new peaty calcium maxxing method to turn yourself into a metabolic furnace and get shredded has just emerged: BONESMASHING Thats right: simply boil ye bones in a pot with vinegar to dissolve them into a chewable chalky chunk. Note that bones are also super high in collagen, being a third collagen by weight! And since bones are so absurdly high in calcium, it is recommended to only eat 10-20g a day, don't overdo it! So you have a food loaded with calcium (you can eat mostly meat while balancing calcium:phosphorus EASILY) AND collagen, which balances out "inflammatory" aminos... it feels like cheating "But uncle Gannon, what about lead?" Well I done the maths, and per 100g bones have twice as much lead as salmon. So not a worrying amount. You're gonna die of calcium overload before you die of lead poisoning, so it's not a concern here. You can see in the video that the bones are soft enough to break up with a knife, this was only after 24 hours, I recommend cooking them for 48 hours for maximum softness. I added vinegar at a rate of 3 tablespoons per liter. You can't taste it after cooking.

“My wisdom teeth, which had started to erupt when I was around the age of 18 or 20, never finished erupting for 25 years, roughly. And within a couple of weeks of taking a small amount of DHEA, they were perfectly oriented, vertical rather than submerged and sideways.” -Ray Peat

NA/EU Peaters beware! Milk contains an unsuitable iodine to selenium ratio because of iodine-supplemented grainslop This can affect the active thyroid hormone conversion process. You can combat this with peaty selenium-rich options like oysters, liver, and cheese

beer does taste exceptionally good after a hiatus of no-alcohol
6 healthy volunteers drank ~1.13 L of beer providing ~600 μmol of monosilicic acid. Within 8 hours, they excreted ~56% of the ingested silicon (range 42–75%), with a concurrent, statistically significant rise in urinary aluminum excretion (p <0.05).

Want to pharmacologically force photographic memory? Crebinostat, Nicotine, and DNP Nicotine strongly stimulates the calcium-dependent enzymes that produce cAMP. DNP is neuroprotective in low doses, it engages parallel pathways that limit cAMP degradation. These complementary actions amplify downstream histone acetylation, making memory-related genes more accessible for transcription. However, HDAC enzymes would normally remove these acetyl groups, putting a break to how long chromatin remains accessible for transcription. This is where Crebinostat comes in. By inhibiting HDAC, Crebinostat could help keep chromatin open for longer, prolonging the expression of genes such as BDNF, Arc, and Synapsin-1, supporting neuroplasticity and long-term memory consolidation.

I would argue that something which is toxic as a high dose cannot be healthy at a low dose. Sure it is way less harming, but not healthy.

We reduce PUFA so we can eat more haribo. We reduce iron intake so we can drink more alcohol. We eat more sugar so we can drink more coffee. Few.

We want more life. We want resilience. We should not be getting oneshot by a coffee. We should not be growing weaker because there’s a little nylon in our boxer brief waistband. Vitalism should not stem from fear.

Walking literally halves your chances of dying Compared to 2,000 steps/day, 7,000 steps/day reduces the risk of all-cause mortality by 47% And not only that: - 25% lower risk of cardiovascular disease incidence - 47% lower risk of cardiovascular disease mortality - 6% lower risk of cancer incidence - 37% lower risk of cancer mortality - 14% lower risk of type 2 diabetes - 38% lower risk of dementia - 22% lower risk of depressive symptoms Most people already hit 3-4k steps just by living life So we’re talking 30-40 extra minutes of walking a day to upgrade your quality of life tremendously, and completely for free
